I, personally, do not believe that any one of us leaves this earth before it is our time to do so.

It is, however, our choice how we use the time that we have on this earth. The extent that we allow ourselves to be sucked into any situation and the energy and control that it has over our life is our own choice alone. To suggest that the words or actions of another person caused the death of this man has to one of the most evil things I have read on this board.

Many people on this board only knew Mr. Pitman by his behaviors and words on this forum and on an internet blog. That is unfortunate...as his friends seem to have a very different view of him. Reading what may have been his last words posted only hours before his untimely death was particularly chilling for me. I suspect had he known he would have made different choices.

I think it would serve everyone well to stop and think before you hit the send button...do I want these to be my last words?

Fine, retracted. I am very upset at the sensless loss of a good man and how he was treated here, all for going to bat for the band he loved! Not like Dean has done anything tastless on this board at all. He should think before he treats people so rudely and threatens others, his anger does affect people and this is one instance that was deadly. Life is too short for this nonsense. RIP CP!

He was most definitely a cheerleader for Journey and had simply sent me an email because he had read that I was attending a concert soon and told me to enjoy the experience. To Augeri1, Mrs H and those that knew Craig on a personal level, please accept my condolences on the loss of your dear friend and please know that many will keep him and those that were close to him in our thoughts and prayers.

Although I am a member over at Back Talk I have not gotten to know many of the other members there on a personal level, therefore there are not many members who stand out to me more than the others. So I never really knew anything about Mr Pitman. It wasn't until I came on to these message boards last week that I started to become familiar with him via his posts.

Although I still don't know much of anything about him on a personel level I have to say that I greatly respect him for the way he would defend what he loved so much!

It is is a lot easier to respect those who try to build up rather than those who try to tear down.

Lady you have got a NERVE coming in here placing blame on Dean.
You should really take a look at Craigs post before you go making assumptions.
The man was worse than Dean or anyone here.

Craig as I've read lived life to the fullest he smoked, dranked and judging by the pictures I've seen he didn't watch what he ate. So ANY or ALL of those factors I just pointed out were the CAUSE of his untimely death.

Yes, even a really healthy young person's blood pressure can go up if they're stressed/panicking about something, as I found out recently. How about Dean's earlier comments about how he can't stop thinking about this at work etc.? People can get really involved in the Internet and it does affect their daily life... look at the World of Warcraft players. You're lucky that you can shut down your computer and not think about it again... my guess is that the people who are more "involved" with the band (I think you've never even seen them live) are more consumed with this offline.

I have a long history of heart problems in my family and some of my closest family members have died way to early from heart failure. Since I have lost so many family members to heart problems I have done a lot of research on the topic.

My own personal guess is that Craig Pitman probably had an existing heart problem, and therefore he PROBABLY would not have lived for very many more years even if he hadn't been in those heated arguments?

However, I , again in my own personal opinion, would say that the arguments here on these boards definitely helped contribute to him having a heart attack!

If you have a heart problem that kind of stress can absolutely be the straw that broke the camels back so to speak. It is entirely possible that if he had not been in those heated arguments that he may not have had a heart attack when he did!

Listen for all we know Pit could of been wolfing down some greasy food, or fought with a family member or could have been on the pot trying to release a demon during that precise moment. FACT is it was his time to go meet his creator. If you ask me and many others Pit brought this on HIMSELF he put himself in that situation.
