EXACTLY. That is one thing I hate...when a message forum created for FANS to discuss a subject turns into a message for used by assholes who have nothing to say but critiquing the subject. What is the point of the forum if that is all it's used for?

At least BT still has a purpose. This place doesn't, and hasn't for a while now.

As I said before the official forums of any band, not just Journey's forums, are FOR the cheerleaders. It's not a place to go run down the band. Which many people here who have gloamed on to Dean's point of view, have done, and would do if allowed. Journey pays for the bandwidth, the server, and the software to run BT so it is in essence private property, they can do as they wish. Which is why places like MR can exist. Without the limitations imposed on BT then their would be no need for the MR Journey Forums would there?

They were ok ...but what i couldn't stand was during a break the lead singer actually got on stage and started singing Journey songs!!What the hell was that all about ...Not a great way to have there own idenity!!!

Boy, way to spin things. If BT is the devil's spawn, I am not sure why Jeremy posted over there? He got upset when his own words came back to haunt him. Rather bad form to criticize Journey on MR & go the band's own website to tray to hawk his shows. So he was surprised that he wasn't so warmly received after various statements on MR?

For a bunch of people who detest BT so thoroughly, there are a few people here who spend a lot of time talking about it.

and something he said over here.

Isn't he allowed to have an opinion in that Augeri is
not doing well and HE feels Steve.A should not be touring?
He didn't start anything there, that was thrown at him.
As far as double billing yourself in the same state as
Journey for a show I think that's a great idea and
it's AFTER the Journey concert that Frontiers would play.
So to me it adds up to 4-5 hours of Journey music
instead of 80 mins.

Well, I'm sick of this entire charade.

Nobody ganged up on him here because this forum has been led by Dean's charges for a weeks now. It's deviant to suggest Journey SHOULD be touring. THAT is the type of talk which will get people to gang up on you.

So, IMO, Jeremy got what he deserved in that post. He would have got the same thing here if there were more actual Journey FANS, instead of so many critics.
