Freddie because he was entertaining as well as a great singer. MMD for various reasons. Ann Wilson, because there wasn't anyone much better than her in her prime. (at the time)

I think both of those guys sounded better as they entered their late 30s to early 40s. I actually like Geddy's voice as well when he's not singing the really high, squealy stuff, not to mention that I'm also a huge Rush fan.

Nothing silly there...I love JLT's vocals on Yngwie Malmsteen's "Odyssey" album and RJD is great as well.

indeed. I don't deserve to be known as a Sammy fan, if I forget him. Great Tequila too.

That said, NO ONE knows how to throw a "show" like Sammy. And you know what I mean. Ever since I saw him live in '84, I knew I'd be a lifelong fan.

Now, back to the music talk.

Odyssey is a great album!
Thanks, I just wanted to say who I liked as singers. Nice to see JLT and RJD get some respect on a JRNY board.

Damn right, Odyssey kicks butt! one of my all time favs. JLT has some great tunes on his "Rescue You" solo album, such as Endlessly (great vocal ability there) just a really good singer.
