You all speak of JSS as the 2nd coming of Christ. Sorry, he's not. I don't agree with the entire situation, they should never have gone out on tour this year knowing what Mr. Augeri's health was like.

I'm done. Enjoy the Kool Aid.
Railroaded lmao wow thats a stretch !!!Steve A should've been man enough to stand up to Neal and tell him what was up!!!!But no they had to do the whole tapegate thing and they got caught like lil kids with there hands in the cookie jar!!!and as far as reputation Steve A is his own man and makes his own choices...this one was a bad one !!!and your to right about Jss i have the same opinion seeing him perform my self he's not bad don't get me wrong...but he's no steve a or steve p ...So lets let the Journey boys deal with what they have done to themselves... by there own choices...and see if they can deal with this with honesty and class to show us it's not all about the money.

Lets face this, we will never really know who is to blame in this, some say Augeri, Some say Neal, could be Jon. But they have got to get it together and soon-ERIC

Augeri did some outside writing for "Generations" but I believe the band recorded together as a unit.

It was discussed earlier that maybe Augeri was under contract and not actually an equal member of the band. I don't find that very improbable, so maybe he did not actually have a place to "be a man and stand up" for himself.

I have heard bad stories about everyone in the band except Augeri... not a bad thing except from Dean's crusaders, who didn't even have firsthand experience with the man. So I'm inclined to believe that SA is more innocent than people here claim.

Deen's sister has previously commented on BT that each band member gets an equal share. No one is getting any more or less.

I thought I read somewhere that he was in New York working with a vocal coach when the others were in the studio in CA?!?

Funny, I thought it started with Augeri's ailing voice and Journey's cover up using tapes overseas.

News to me. I said what I said because pictures were posted of all the band members in the recording studio together.
But hell, for all I know, they could've been merely rehearsing!

Yeah, and I can't remember where I heard that...seems like it was in print somewhere...interview??

I just remember thinking it sounded very alienated after all the talk of how tight they were as a band now. Didn't seem to fit with the talk. I definitly got the impression he was working on the vocals where he lived.

Dunno man.
I believe Augeri wrote some stuff while in NY.
Like collaborating with his friend Thom DeRossi for the much maligned track, "Believe".

Maybe that was part of it, too. I remember them talking about him working with a vocal coach which was especially interesting after he sang lead on so few songs.

A very brief review, only that it went over well. You will get the setlists from others. My boys have work to do for a day or two. I will have everything on Monday hopefully. They have the Virginia Beach to go to and I have a double header over 30 baseball league comittment.

One thing I got that Deen's singing was minimum. Hope that helps.

I will review the "souveniers" when I get them.

Yes you have. Kevin Elson. he "produced" vocals for 95 shows last year. "Okay, 1,2,3, roll tape. Got it. You're on guys."

I am to a certain extent. There are infections that can cause vocal problems, and the more one sings and puts more wear on one voice, the more the infection take hold, and make recovery harder. So with Augeri's voice already wore thin this can only add problems to it. But they still a lot that is unknown.-ERIC

No, at this time, it's people like you and the Augeri-onlies that are doing nothing more than shit-stirring. It's just old.
