WOW. That's a great vocal by Perry! Geez! thanks for that. I'd love to hear more of this show. Awesome.

Yeah, great performance.

It was a great show! Again, not perfect, but still great. I'll see what else I have. Hoping more people will share. I'm sure there's stuff out there from his other shows, and more from Osaka, etc.

Also hoping for some stuff from the JSS shows...

Mark & Brian show

Postby AR » Tue Jul 11, 2006 9:16 am

Journey with Augeri from the Mark and Brian Show, live in studio. 14 minutes long with an interview and live performances of Lights & Wheel in the Sky. Not sure of the actual date, maybe someone can help with that? Sometime in 1999 maybe?

Missing You – Memphis 94 (intro is a little funny)
not my favorite song, but it’s a nice version. Even with the drunk, screaming girl….

A killer performance of Edge of the Blade - though obviously a shortened version. Maybe someone out there has the whole thing…

All I have of Memphis is just a video boot of it. Whoever filmed it must of used those tiny tapes or something, because when they put it together, it is out of sequence. But there is a hilarious part where a drunk man comes up on the stage after the red tails comes down, and he rubs the red tails on his body !

Are YOU sharing anything? We already know your bias. It's in almost every post. SAVE IT ALREADY!

And I think it's a fine performance, but that's my personal opinion. This thread is about sharing, not your personal attacks against one of Journey's former singers. . I've got plenty of Perry stuff too. (and maybe someone new as well)

I was planning on sharing some of that stuff too, but you just ruined it because I'm officially pissed off after taking the time to post this stuff.

lol, not much, I'm sure.

And I saw the scene when the drunk goes up on stage. Funny stuff. Perry was wrecked. just doubled over laughing. Took him a few minutes to recover.
Between him and the guy screaming Lights lyrics, and the screaming girl... Sounds like Memphis was a raucous show all around. They must have been serving liquor, lol.

and arrivalrules, don't let one ingrate upset you. if you do, you're giving them a gift...

I love having this stuff from Augeri. Esp the interview one. Thank you

thanks to everyone who shared this stuff so far. and Arrivalrules, pls continue, for the rest of us, if no one else.

I have the crappy video, but video nonetheless of the Perry in Ny Concert taken from the balcony, and while it makes you sick at times to watch, it's nice to relive solo Perry. I'm looking at my ticket now and smiling at how great a concert it was back in Oct. 94.

Would love to see the Memphis show, especially after hearing Perry saying "we already played that one, where were you?..." and laughing at it.

I have it whocares, but whoever filmed it, put it together out of sequence. You can tell because first you will see Steve with a flannel shirt, then later on his "deep grove"shirt is on ( the one he wore during an encore), then you see him in his t-shirt. If you don't mind all of that nonsense, shoot me a pm and we'll talk. :D

I wondered how it all got so screwed up like that. It's very disconcerting, but the comedy of the guy with the tails is great. Isn't this the one where Steve falls on his butt while picking up flowers then makes a joke about it? The sound though is surprisingly good for such a chopped up video.

Yeah, me too. Even though the Beacon NY is the best video I have, I like watching the Memphis better for the comedy.

I have audios from Milwaukee and somewhere in New Jersey and videos from Memphis and NY. The one from New Jersey has an acapella(sp) version of Let It Be Me that's just awesome.

OH MY &^%$ING GOD!!

Thank you SO MUCH, Sherrie, for sharing that with the world....unbelievable!!

Did he start off by singing a part of that song by Seal - "Don't Cry"? Or did Seal steal the words from LIBM?

That was the LOOK on my face when he sang the 2nd verse....when he did his "vocal back-handspring" on the word "lonely"....nice "7th" he threw in there!! 8)

My my my....loss for words....

PS ~ Love that chick at the end...."LET IT BE ME, BABY!!"
