OT: SuperNova

Anybody watching RockStar: SuperNova? Judging from the lack of interest in its forum on here, I guess not. There is one pretty damn good female singer on it named Dilana. Check out her dead-on Stevie Nicks style:

Here she is singing "Zombie". Not the best representation of her, though. I pick her to win the thing.

I've been waiting for a Supernova thread! I followed the INXS series with much interest, but this one is seriously lacking something, and i think that something is a contestant that can sing!!

Last season there was some amazing talent on display, eventual winner JD, Mig Ayessa, Marty Casey, Jordis Ungar, Ty Taylor and the awesome Suzie McNeil...this year i can't think of one singer that has the charisma and voice to match any of those, and what its it with Tommy Lee, he seems so nanchalante about the whole affair!!

I think it needs to step up a gear and fast! But what about that HouseBand?? - I'd pay very good cash to see them alone!

Paul, there's a section for Supernova on the Main Index page under "Rock on TV." Don't know if you've seen it yet.

I caught about 5 minutes of it, one time, and I had to turn it. I don't have that much TV time as it is, so why waste it on that crap? If there was anything worth listening to, I didn't give it much of a chance. Maybe Tommy's just looking for another hooker to "go out with." J/K

this show is so boring... the best part of the show is weds night.. where you only have to hear the one good singer and then the three really bad singers....The band needs to be like the Apprentice... if you know its a train wreck.. start firing about 2- 4 singers each week.. that might throw some life into the show....

Its a train wreck.. they just dont know it---The singers are lousy.. and not singers.. there screamers---

Not many on this show impressed me much. I could not believe that one guy picked a Duran Duran song for his last shot. LOL... He deserved to go after that one. What was he thinking?

Tommy Lee just seems like a walking disease. Blech!
The contestants are pretty bad. The one guy that sang "Roxanne" the first night was sooooo bad.

Yep - watching is a bit of a guilty pleasure for me.

But I can't see SN choosing a O+.

They're going through the motions for 'fairness' - but I'd be willing to bet they have no designs on a female voice.

Dilana scares me and Lukas is arrogant although they are both probably what the band wants.

My personal favorite is Toby but he's too clean cut looking for them, I'm sure.

supernova last night was horrible.. one chick would have taken her skirt off it came to that!! and the girl in the tight spandex or whatever it was....still cant sing worth a darn...things ar getting desperate for that show... BTW we switched it over to the ONE on ABC.. that show really SUCKS!! in a BIG WAY.. its all about the drama and --plus no talent singers.. ended up watching the last of last comic standing--those guys are funny!!

Yeah, we watch Last Comic Standing, too. Chris Porter should win that. He is consistently funny. That bit about the birth control patch was great.
