Just talking about the high note y'all....it there was no offense to me about SEPARATE WAYS, you wouldn't have said 'he couldn't hit that note if his life depended on it'....not a diss, eh?

Also, it seems most of you who go on here are bulletproof, used to a little tongue & cheek...I don't attack anyone but I sure as hell defend my honor, my diginity & what I do for a living, which now means I do the same to protect the dignity of the band who have entrusted me to assist them continue out this tour. Take me or leave me, I'm honored to be here & will continue to be as long as they'll have me!

Have fun everyone, summer's almost over :)

20 years of the same music, same songs, perry clones, red leather pants, the wiggle dance...thank God he's not just singing to the die hard fans...may be he can actually bring in some new younger fans and a bigger audience

I'm glad you cleared up the issue of whose voice is on the promo. I'll be seeing you August 26th and am looking forward to it.

Any singer for Journey who is not Steve Perry requires a very thick skin -- it's brutal. (Just ask Steve Augeri some time).

We'll see later if we care enough to put my voice in it just the same....by the way, I've hit higher notes than the high B on Seperate Ways to the moron who said I couldn't if my life depended on it...from the song Colour My XTC hitting the high Eb above this 'B' back '94 to the new Talisman album hitting the same note on a song called Falling....again, does it really matter...idiot! :)

Thanks for clearing this up. I'm sure that when the new clip is done it will be swapped out everywhere. Note: I was wrong and admit it

Again, it wasn't meant to offend, it was simply my way of saying that you're vocal range is much lower. Maybe I should have worded it differently but hey nobody's perfect right? I still stand by my statement that name calling is very classy. Nice way to win fans dude.

Yeah summer's almost over, what a downer lol. I hope I didn't offend you in my earlier post when the topic was started. I love your work, I have your Essential Ballads CD and it's one of my favourite albums. You have a fantastic voice and you bring your own style to Journey. Keep on rockin'.

Should we have our award show now? i can think of a few categories

the person most likely to not know what he is talking about--

the person most likely to follow what a bands website tells him without thinking for himself

the person who will never let anyone tell him what he can and cant do(this might be tuff one)

the person most likely to take a real stab at a professionals abilities where he posts and when that professional countered that persons comment was not able to take a little stab of his/her own from that professional without offering more insult to injury

do we have we have anymore categories?

Thanks for clearing it up (and admitting it), Jeff. I don't mind if it is SA singing in the clip, but I think they're doing a disservice to you by dubbing a different voice in, and I wish management could have come clean about it instead of insisting it's not SA.

I don´t believe JSS is Jeff so to make sure he´s the person he says he is,why don´t you tell me the name of the unreleased project you had when you recorded songs like "Take u higher" and "Migraine"?
And please name a few more songs off that session so I can be totally sure it´s really you.
I´ve got it right here in front of me,all the songs from that session.

Jeff is a true powerhouse singer and I´m a fan of the SS album but I just wanted to make it clear that JSS is the one he says he is.
Journey is not just a band,it´s a way of life!

Just downloaded the clip. I can't believe we have 4 pages and growing of a thread about few seconds of audio on a commercial. Definately not important.

I thought it was already confirmed that he is the actual JSS. From the content of a PM he sent me, I'm going with it being him. Although anyone can be anyone on the internet and I take very little of it as gospel. *shrug* Whoever he is, he seemed nice to me and that's all I really care about.

I don't believe that he's JSS either. Doesn't sound like him or write like him and if the band couldn't even make a statement about tapegate, why find it necessary to comment on this commercial. Why shouldn't it be Augeri's voice? He started the tour.

"Technically" SA is still the singer, but I say it tongue in cheek. Augeri is out on his phony ass, and deservedly so...Anyway, You can Augeri's voice on there because he is technically the lead singer......

As for JSS really being Jeff? I say yes, it is him. I believe Andrew only allows the use of exact names for those members.

Hey, I got on Jeffs ass a few times, but respect the hell out of him. This guy isn't a pussy like the one before him. Jeff has balls, and yes, I did say he can't sing this catalouge in a Perry way, but so what? Who the Hell could? If Jeff can make it his own, I am happy. One thing I will guarantee you is Jeff will NEVER mime or lip....He knows what happens when that shit is pulled.

Go out there and kick some ass dude. While you're out there, take old man Elliot out to the woodshed and beat his Euro ass, and then take that Euro drummer, rip off his remaining arm and beat him senseless with it. Then tell DL to get the fuck outta here, and you guys play for 2.5 hours.

PS, light a fire under Frigas' frozen ass. That guy looks like Al Gore...listless and stiff.

Because this isn't a big deal. Tapegate was too much for them. They didn't know what to do, and still don't.

...from the song Colour My XTC hitting the high Eb above this 'B' back '94 to the new Talisman album hitting the same note on a song called Falling...

Only Jeff and a handful of other people know that there will be a song on the new Talisman album called 'Falling'! Release: probably October 2006!

OK for you Kaj?

He can easily prove who he is by putting electrical tape or a post it over part of his drivers license (over the addy) & scan it in, let us all see.

I can not accept a Journey led by JSS unless they play "That Load" by Skrapp Mettel and "I'll See the Light Tonight" by Yngwie.

Personally, and I don't care if Jeff reads this - Queen should have chosen him, he would have been a better fit there. Perfect fit, actually.

Just kidding, I think it's totally JSS. I don't think they would have time to put together other vocals with the footage. They had to change this for the tour real fast and then promote it. Thank goodness they're finally showing JSS and not old footage!
