Well, maybe it's because it was well-known that Gramm's voice had really declined and so a new singer was needed... with Augeri people only heard the NC show if anything... and Perry didn't ever prove that his was either way...

I hate to see a guy who put 8 years of his life into Journey get forgotten so easily.
