Thank you so much for that! It almost made me cry.

If I had known when I saw them in 1986 that it would be the last time I ever saw Steve Perry and Neal Schon perform together, I would have savored every second.

Thank you ever so kindly Clascrockldy and Froy.
That is one of my fave tunes of all time so bittersweet.
I don't know about all of you but that one holy high note
he hits gets me everytime and that song told me he still
had that powerful voice in him!

Maybe someone oughta show Perry this. Anyone with half a brain (or half a heart) in his position would pick up the phone and call Neal after seeing it.

Though I can't honestly say I'd wanna see Perry with Journey again.

Me too Barb. The last time I saw Steve P. and Neal on the same stage together was at the ROR Mountainaire concert.

Sunnyvale -- San Jose area. Did you get stuck in the parking lot nightmare? It took HOURS to get out of that place and the car next to me caught on fire!!

My then husband and I drove in from East Contra Costa County. Up Highway 4. And god yes ! The traffic was a nightmare going there and back ! We didn't get back home until almost 6 the next morning ! My ex-in-laws had our baby daughter overnight, so we could get some sleep. Those were the days ! :D
