Until I am wrong about something, you should shut your hole.

You offer NOTHING to this Board. Nothing.

Deano, I have read on some other posts that Herbie and John Kalodner like this version of Journey. Do you know what they have said? Thanks.

I've already proven you wrong , Deano...accept reality already, lol.

Grow a pair, and have the balls to admit when you're wrong.

Proven him wrong about what? The lip synching?

I didn't believe it at first, either, until I heard all the evidence. I still didn't want to believe it but it DID happen.

Nope, I never said I proved him wrong about the lip-synching..I proved him wrong (or at the least, a hypocrite) when he tried to play spelling police with another poster over spelling Augeri's name wrong, the same day I saw a post of his where he spelled Deen's last name as "Castranova."

As fas as the lip-synch issue goes, however, he (and others) make claims that Augeri hasn't sung live in over a year, and enough of us who have sat within feet of the man during shows, and KNOW what we're talking about, know that that's simply not true. For me, that was Chula Vista last June. Augeri's lead vox were ALL live. He just can't accept that I'm right.

Beano just doesn't like me because I won't roll over for him like some will.

Do you think Andrew would come out on the front page of his site and flat out admit that the lip-synching allegation is true unless the band admitted it? I doubt it.

You and me both. Not that I care to get into this, just one thing- I too saw a ton of shows, but was too close to the stage to ever really hear the vocals. I think Dean claims the tapes began after Chula, not 100% sure on that though.

According to his timeline, the show in Indianapolis last year was lipped. However, Augeri's vocals were pretty bad in that show. He sounded simply OK by the end of the show but it still wasn't good, so I'm pretty sure there was no lipping going on during that one.

For the last Goddamned time...

Chula was only half lipped...after that debacle, Kevin got behind the curtain and worked his magic. That guy deserves a raise and an asskicking. Why? Because he is so good at what he does, he made a shit singer sound great, however, he used the same same same same boot for every show. Jesus Kev, throw the scent off for the dogs! Think dude!

Anyway, I find it ironic, Augeri started lipping right after Chula Vista 100%, then continued on until the very last week of his now over career....ONE year to the day, he was fired.

I could tell you some stories of verified truth, but this Board would be glowing white hot. There is new shit that I have just come to know, and if it ever gets out, it would be death to the band. I am happy with where they are now. No, I think Jeff sucks as a Journey lead (I like his voice but not for JRNY), and they are not faking it anylonger.

PS, Roxx, do you think I am impressed because you sat 5 feet from the lipper? Aw dude, I have met these guys many of times, and know what they are like. Trust me, with the exception of 1 guy, I think they are scumbags with NO morals and a very shaky character. One more thing dickweed, don't ever challenge me to a spell off...You will lose your ass.

My 5 cents worth... IF you KNOW so much write a tell all and try and get it published...
otherwise----your going to uncharted waters here---dont you think it could be considered slanderous, if you keep spouting out about how much YOU KNOW... just questioning it all...
and brave enough to take the heat...

The Indianapolis show came AFTER Chula Vista. There's no way it was lipped. He sounded HORRIBLE in the first set and still didn't sound fantastic even at the end. No lipping in that show. If it was, it was a pretty bad tape that he was flapping his lips to.

You are late to the party.

This shit went on for 3 months.

I don't want or need publicity.

Slander? Not hardly. You can't be sued if you are telling the truth. There is a reason Journey didn't sue. They would lose, and lose handsomely.

The Indy show was lipped. There were 4 songs that weren't completely lipped. FITH, Lights, LTS and the end of SIL.

I heard the entire show. I sat in the lawn section where there's not as much noise and the instruments and vocals are easily distinguished. He sounded horrible for the entire evening with the exception of perhaps the last three or four tunes. IF he lipped that show, that was one bad tape they used that evening.

Oh, please. You can't lord that kind of "victory" over him. We all make typos.

Hey, Dean, I want to know which one of them is NOT the "scumbag"? Serious question. You can PM me if you don't want it out. I'm guessing it's Deen, but not sure.

Yeah, because this sounds like a guy who is really on the fence regarding the veracity of Perry's illness...

Monker wrote:YOU need a reality check if you believe Perry was lame after Hawaii...he wasn't. He may have needed surgery for some degenerative condition...but, he wasn't stuck in bed, walking about with crutches, or even a cane.

LOL! I absolutely said that...because there were various people who SAW Perry after Hawaii, including Jim Peterik of Survivor who said on Survivor's website that Perry burst into their studio like a 'bat out of hell" and was completely suprised when people started asking how Perry's 'injury' was.

Did I TOTALY discount the 'degenerative' condition? ABSOLUTELY NOT. But I also absolutely do NOT believe he was on crutches for months after the trip. The truth is somewhere in the middle. BOTH extremes are wrong, IMO.

Well, Beano, you're clearly dismayed that yet another person unwilling to swallow your ongoing BS has invaded your territory, ie: this board.

Otherwise, why on earth would you continue to call me schoolyard-grade names, fail to acknowledge when you've been proven wrong, and, most pathetic of all, spout bald-faced lies about me that are clear to anyone who's read my posts and has even a fifth-grade level of comprehension of the English language (see ridiculous claim highlighted above)?

Pissed that I'm here, eh?

Two words for ya, Bubba: tough tits.

;^)

Yep...that's really the bottom line...Anybody who disagrees with him shouldn't be here, or they have to put up with his BS insults because Andrew allows it. When you get past the ego and "you suck and shouldn't be here" attitude, his posts are really about as thin as tissue paper.

No, Roxx got me on the Castranova spelling. I was indeed wrong. However, I am smarter than he is in every sense of the word and he knows it. I alwys own up to a mistake if i make it. I am 100% accountable.

Exactly...NOTHING he has has every said about the entire contravversy has EVER been "verified"...The closest he came was Svante, and he seems to have faded away from the forum.

Deano, you can't come here, drop these "hints" like this and then say offer no further explanation! That is stinkin' NOT fair! :P

Forgot to mention (hence the edit), that anyone can sue anyone. The truth is the BEST defense, but it doesn't mean you can't be sued, even if truth is on your side. You're probably right though, in that IF what you say about tape gate is true, then Journey would likely not spend the money to defend themselves against it and would rather hope that it just goes away...into the night...far, far away... :D
