I can remember a few that started on time. I'm a big Kansas fan and they usually start pretty much right on time and even several minutes early one time.

WOW!! what a great combo! I'm seeing Tesla next week, let me know how they are. If you're sitting down in front, open up, Sammy likes to share his tequila!

Saw Sammy earlier this summer, he went on for 3 hr's 10 min., which was great! My major complaints : he signed too many autograph's during the show, therefore was'nt singing on parts of the song's. Don't like looking at the fan's on stage. The whole "village" thing was lame. Other than these thing's it was great... Sammy's in good voice and there was no opener, just Sammy, then Mike, for the whole show!

Sammy rocked the HOUSE! I've seen him about 7 or 8 times over the years, and this was absolutely the best show I've ever seen. He did sign a lot of autographs, but I just think that makes him even more cool.

Tesla was really good too.

This was the show in Mt. View, CA -- Shoreline Amphitheater.

Great show wasn't it Barb? To be totally honest, I've never been much of a Sammy fan, but went to one of his shows a few years ago with some friends and was so blown away with the show that I don't think I've missed one since. Though nine bucks for a shot of tequila is horrifying (even if it is really gooood!)

I hope Sammy writes a book about his life one day. Think of all the great shit he could write about. Montrose, solo career, HSAS, VH, Sam and Dave tour... If Jimmy Buffet can write books, so can Sammy!

Glad you enjoyed! I'm surprised he had an opening band, he didn't have one here.

Did Michael Anthony play as well? The two of them together are a riot :D

It was great seeing Tesla -- I'd never seen them and they were really good. Michael Anthony was there --- those 2 could get in a lot of trouble together.

Yup, ducked out of work a little early and hung out before the show watching the interesting collection of humanity that always seems to accompany the Bone Bash. One shot, one Waborita (okay, technically, not a Waborita, just a regular margarita w/ Cabo Wabo) Yummmmm.

Did love the implications that they didn't play a couple of those VH songs because Eddie couldn't play 'em any more. ;) Can't believe Sammy's 58 though... geez the guy's got too much energy!

Tesla was added for the show when it became the annual Bone Bash show after the original Bone Bash was cancelled when ... god I can't remember who it was... well whoever was supposed to do the gig cancelled their whole summer tour.

Michael Anthony was fantastic -- missed his solo when I had to make a run to the restroom, but was back in my seat while he took lead on Running with the Devil, which was fantastic.

And, a general question to all -- is it just a Bay Area phenomenon or are there ALWAYS Sammy look alikes at his gigs?? I swear there were 3-4 guys who were doing a *bad* job of looking like Sammy...
