Yeah, it will be as big as his last song, "I Stand Alone". That was HUGE!

Secondly, I'd love to hear Perry do a duet with someone who can REALLY sing...just to show the contrast of how bad Perry's voice has REALLY become.

"Faith In The Heartland" was as good as anything Journey had done since Frontiers, but no one would play it, not because Perry wasn't there, but because classic rock and top 40 radio won't play new music by classic rock bands. James Taylor, Van Morrison, Toto, Tom Petty, the Stones, and Paul McCartney have all put out great albums in the last few years that got nowhere on the radio. .

First off, Perry will have backing, unlike Journey. perry will have a MGT team that, um, manages. Getting played for Perry won't be a problem.

As for Toto, don't get me started on them. Boy, do I have some dirt on those fuckers.

Can't believe no one picked that up...

Dude, you've got some dirt on the Toto boys..? Spill it....

Or at least PM me...

Yeah I know. That would upset him, so I won't start in on them.

Bingo.

I heard Adams has just done one with her, and it will be out in a couple months. In fact, I believe they are going to tour togther.

The two of them sound a LOT alike! ;)

Add Perry to the mix and you've got the Three Raspers (rather than the Three Tenors).

Say what you will about Adams, but he is a much better singer than Augeri ever was, and IMO, better than Jeff.

Listen to any live recording of his. Everytime, solid, solid, and solid.

Was he upset when you posted your dirt on Journey? I guess Toto can be glad you're not a "fan" of them, else you'd be trying to destroy them.
As for Adams, I'm not a fan but the rasp comment isn't meant as a knock against him, his was always that way, it's more regarding the state of Perry's voice. But I image it is easier to bring it with that type of voice than it is to keep a Perry or Augeri or even JSS type of voice in pristine shape.

Yeah, he was, but he knew it had a place. I think I was close to putting him into a tight spot. In fact, he was in a tight spot. Andrew is a cool Mofo. I think he is wrong on some things, but generally gets it right.

As for Toto, I just can't get into them. I like Lukather, and their problems, I won't elaborate on, because I don't care about Toto like I do about Journey, so what's the point?

You are right. His voice is tailored to his music. I know he can't go high, and so does he. However, his voice is much stronger than Augeri's ever was. Augeri had a paper thin, pussy voice. Adams has some gruff, and you never hear a crack.
