The Indy show was lipped. There were 4 songs that weren't completely lipped. FITH, Lights, LTS and the end of SIL.

why not hollywood stars do it all the time to publications---sometimes they win/sometimes they lose...
I think YOU are the one who needs to prove that the songs were fully taped... and if you cant come clean with an answer---then its over in my opinion end of story.... its just time to own up to YOUR blog...BTW suing just doesnt happen over night---it might happen three years from now....if they wanted to wait that long...if Steve feels humilated with pain and suffering because of whatever this story might do to his career over time...thats when it would be done..

Look, Deano, I wrote for one of the largest-circulation daily newspapers in Southern California, among other publications.

And as far as your perception of my level of competence/esteem/whatever, how many "shit-assed" writers do you know that have been invited to interview Brian Wilson, in person, in the music room of his Hollywood Hills home? The cover story that came from that amazing two-and-a-half hour visit with one of the true geniuses of pop/rock music was one of my proudest moments. Your bizarre little power trip can't change that.

You clearly have some serious, deep-seated emotional issues. What they are, or what spawned them, is none of my business.

But for your sake, and that of those who care about you, I really hope you find the inspiration at some point in your life to work them out.

My interview with Brian was a wonderful experience. Sure, he speaks very slowly, so that plus the fact that I tape all my interviews made it an easy go. He was taking a break during the Pet Sounds tour, and was really excited about how the shows with his backing band (the LA-based Wondermints) were coming together. Half the time he was sitting at the grand piano in the music room, banging out snippets of the songs he wanted to talk about. A mini-concert, if you will.

Kinda like a big kid, he really made me and my photog friend feel at home from the moment he greeted us at the front door until the time we left. If you're a BW/Beach Boys fan, Styxman, I'd be happy to send you a link to a transcript of the story. Won't post it to this thread, not with the mood around here lately.
