Opus could always rock out! Tragchk -- I miss it, too. The new Opus comic is funny, but not quite the same.

I've been sort of following that online (it isn't in our paper) but there's one I like better...I loved Bloom County but if you are, as I am, a diehard Calvin & Hobbes fan as well, may I suggest Frazz by Jef Mallett? The inkwork is eerily identical, the attitude is there, it's like Calvin grown up.
