My interview with Brian was a wonderful experience. Sure, he speaks very slowly, so that plus the fact that I tape all my interviews made it an easy go. He was taking a break during the Pet Sounds tour, and was really excited about how the shows with his backing band (the LA-based Wondermints) were coming together. Half the time he was sitting at the grand piano in the music room, banging out snippets of the songs he wanted to talk about. A mini-concert, if you will.

Kinda like a big kid, he really made me and my photog friend feel at home from the moment he greeted us at the front door until the time we left. If you're a BW/Beach Boys fan, Styxman, I'd be happy to send you a link to a transcript of the story. Won't post it to this thread, not with the mood around here lately.
