The_Noble_Cause wrote:As any staunch Journey fan already knows, the one-word title, "Freedom" was always supposed to be a part of the Journey titular cannon.
In fact, it was supposed to be the title of the follow up to "Frontiers."
At Perry's insistance, the one-word titles were left behind and Journey took a different course.
However, as recently as last year, Neal ((allegedly)) said that he still wanted to use the title.
Here's the question;
In these post-911 times, can Journey still use the title without sounding like some contryfried pseudo-patriotic Toby Keith dickhammer?

Yeah, who's that Toby Keith dickhammer opening for? Def Leppard? We already know where Journey stand on America. Like Neil wrote in those stupid "Out of Harms Way" lyrics about soldiers signing up to fight in the war because they can't find a job in America. Pure idiocy! The unemployment rate has been hovering 4.6%-4.8% Pretty much anyone who WANTS to work, can work.

It's Neal and I am pretty sure Jon wrote the lyrics.

Hey they're employed, they just get paid under the table and don't pay taxes. Yet, they have half of congress there for them demanding a bigger share of the tax cuts!!!!!

I merely tried to point out that you spelled a word wrong. A pretty simple one at that. I understand typos occur, but you didn't have to be a fuckin' jagoff about it.

Ah, but rapsux threatened his manhood with the "Are you gay?" question. In the code of men, that must be countered with a swift and decisive comeback. :lol:

That doesn't mesh with a Neal-interview I read, where Neal claimed he wanted to call the album "Avatar".
Lots of baloney on the web, not sure what to believe.
