I am still gratefull for your STYX CD's. there are so many, you must of sent me the entire catalouge! been going through them over the months, not a bad voice. Its very different type of music though, its good - just different to what I expected. I think the lead singer has a very clear sounding voice though, pretty good.

Not only does he love the band and keeps in touch with Ross but had said he is always there to help the guys out in the vocalist spot if they need him! Though most of us know Jeff is the singer now,Kevin did say that it seems the guys want to go in a harder rock direction, which Jeff would be ideal for.

Did he say JSS is in 4 shure or did u just read between the lines?
bionic wrote:Read between the lines, but i have it on good authority he is in,not sure when the announcement will be though.Steve cannot return as his voice is shot and there is little they can do about that i am afraid.
steveforever wrote:Jeff Scott Soto even says on his website that he's filling in for Steve A. while he recovers, why are you guys writing him off? He's obviously more of a studio guy than a tour guy because his voice is older and its hard on him, that doesn't mean he's out of Journey. JSS has his own stuff and he's doing this for fun and publicity....Steve A. is not gone!!!!

JohnH wrote:Steve is out. I just sent Andrew an email about this. JSS is in. I just heard from a co worker ( I work for a well known music equipment mfg) who's in touch with a member of JSS's camp. Anyway, JSS is in and I heard there were some other problems with Augeri that I didn't get more details on. I'm sure this will all come out later.
