"Finesse"

fi·nesse - Refinement and delicacy of performance, execution, or artisanship.

That's the word that comes to mind when I listen to this song.....completely EFFORTLESS:

IBAWY - from the FTLOSM boot:
http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?a ... 702D8580C6

IMO if Steve gets himself back in shape, he should call the CD "Finesse"

...and now I'll sit here and wait for all the ""s to come in....

yeah, pretty effortless. I also like the way that he changes up the melody lines and still makes the song work.
Cool the way he slid "Cupid" in there, even though it wasn't an easy fit. ;)
Even though his voice is rough and a bit hoarse, it's still effortless for him. That's the weird thing about him. There are points where he'll crack, but only rarely misses the pitch (although he does at the end of this example) and never sounds like he's straining to hit the note. It's effortless.

I wonder if Perry's a loud singer or a soft singer .

Yes, we ALL do....hope he is working on something new to release and not just private stuff all the time. Maybe that's why he grew his hair back out.

Nope, Steve isn't growing out his hair just for a new release. Haven't you ever changed your hairstyle or let it grow out for the hell of it? :D

I just can't get over how good this is. I think it's my favorite from the FTLOSM show. *sigh*

He never sang "Unchained Melody" anywhere, did he? I'd love to hear him on that one.

I think I'd get lightheaded if I ever heard him do the whole song. Thanks for posting that! I can go to bed happy. :D

Thanx for this; listening to it right now....Compared to IBAWY, Steve sounds like a KID!!

Yes, he was a lot younger....but what I mean is a LOT younger!

He really expanded the mids and lows over the years, huh? WOW....
