yeah, its a bloody shame what happened, I really hope he rides it out and comes out the other end.
I will try to find time to throw up more stuff over the next couple days, particularly things like "Remember Me" which wasnt featured on the Vegas official DVD, and of which there is a great version in this gig

Just makes me think. Give JSS a bit of practice. I bet he'll get the notes. Maybe even kill them.

Well, having seen the whole gig a few times now, I dont think he is struggling at all. but he is at the edge of his range quite often, so time was gonna, and indeed "did" take its toll on the guys chords. Shame

Maybe they just need to suck it up, take it down a bit. Try to save any singer's voice. Or hire a 20 yr old.

Why didn't they just step it down. Makes no sense at all. What I never got was why they didn't spend some time with him and see if they could write well together before they hired him. That might have saved all of them a shitload of grief. I can't stand to see those video clips with him in them now. Reminds me of what they pulled on fans.

The_Noble_Cause wrote:Throughout his career, Augeri has always injected his own little vocal flourishes and ad-libs into singing live.
This is noticeable as early as his live Tyketto days.
Though being constrained largely by the Perry-vocal influence, I think Augeri did his best to put his own stamp on things.
