Kiss Me Softly is such a sexy, beautiful song... I love it.

If we're talking under rated Journey tunes, I'll side with "Happy To Give"..."Why Can't This Night Go On Forever" from ROR days... This album became under rated as well, mostly the blame was due to time off that was needed for new energy as a band, and the line-up changes didn't help...

My opinion of ROR is that there are some solid tunes, but it's just not Journey. It's too slanted toward the pop. When I got it, my mom liked it more than me. That's the kiss of death, right there.

Post-TBF Journey made little headway on the mainstream music scene (through no fault of their own).
I'd say even their best known song, "Higher Place" is still woefully underrated.

However, there are many overlooked gems from Perry's time with the band, as well.

I remember hearing that song on the radio when it first came out and getting chills down my spine and thinking "the Journey sound is back!".

Open Arms is most underrated. Know why? Because VH1 made it the number 2 best ballad of all times, and who was number 1? You got it: Whitney fucking coke nose Houston's remake of a Dolly Parton song: I'll always love you.

WTF!!! First, that is a remake of a country tune.
Second, the remake is fucking awful! Who told her that its tender in a love song if you scream at the top of your voice the whole time?

Yes, Open Arms is the most underrated song. Upstaged by a coke snorting hack.

"Easy to Fall" - I know some don't like this one, but I think it's incredicble for the smooth, almost effortless melody. Almost a throw back to the Departure days.

Easy to Fall is a great song. Sounds like Sweet and Simple with better lyrics.

Well, Whitney is not doing too well anymore, if that's any consolation.

Spaceman's on there for me. In fact most of those first 3 albums don't get what they deserve. Do You Recall, Edge of the Blade, Troubled Child, WCTNGOF, Don't Be Down On Me Baby, and With Your Love.
