Everyone keeps asking why Augeri hasn't acknowledged the prayers and such, probably because he's in the saddest part of his life, no one can understand what someone else is going thru, he's not a robot.

Yeah well he spent 8 years wiggling & sucking up to fans winning them over. He succeeded in winning over several & they payed huge $$$ to go see him again & again & again. Then he goes onstage and lips to his own vocals from 5 years ago. Wiggles some more, signs some more autographs, sucks up to some more fans. Now all those "fans" he made are crying about him, worrying about him & praying for him on a daily basis. U can bet they're sending him cards & letters & didn't I see something where someone sent him a fruit basket on BT? And where is he now? He can't even come out & thank them? I said nothing about coming clean. Just that it's rotten that he hasn't even so much as said "thank you". I can't believe mgmt would stop that. What harm would it do? I think Augeri is just too embarassed or something.

I think its pretty shitty as well. And absolutely NO DISRESPECT TO HIS FAMILY, but his wife, Lydia, has posted at BT in the past, just like a lot of Deen's family does... She hasn't even posted anything. Would she be included in the gag order too, if one even existed?

In a way it's shitty of the band if they don't let him or his wife communicate something. Even if it was just a message on the site itself (not BT) that said "Steve says thanks for the cards & well wishes." It's been what 6 weeks now since JSS stepped up? It's long past warranted.

I guess Deano is 100% right & he's never ever gonna perform on any stage again w/anyone. If he was planning to, u'd think he'd want to preserve the fans he collected.

There is absolutely NO reason why Steve cannot post a simple message to his fans on BT or anywhere else. If there is concern from Joureny management, they could obviously draft something up or appraove before-hand what Steve intends to say. It is ridiculous to think there is anything holding Steve back other than HIS PERSONAL FEELINGS. I honestly think it is quite possible that Steve is depressed or at least saddened by the whole thing...maybe even ashamed or embarrassed. I think that is more likely than any gag order about this...

I think the powers-that-be have something to do with the way BT is run. They're the puppeteers and CJ and the rest of the mods are the puppets, so any posts that mention the future of Journey and Augeri are gonna be either heavily censored or locked. You can't even constructively critiscise the band without the iron fist coming down. If Augeri was coming back, there would of been an update by now.

I have heard from sources who knew JourneyCat that she was indeed "banned" from BT, possibly by JT himself.

I do not have many connections personally, but that is one tidbit I'm sure about.

The band doesn't take that place seriously. The same 15-20 people are the ones who keep posting to those prayer and wiggle threads and bump that crap up 100 times a day. Journey management will never bring Augeri back after finally getting through all this. They have to put this behind them or risk more bad publicity. I don't wish bad health on any person, so I hope he gets well. He just has never had any business trying to front Journey...then or now.

But that's a reflection upon the band/management, not the mods or posters. They could change their own site if they wanted to.
