You have no clue what went down.

He liked tapes..KNEW about using them, and was pissed off when he was told they were "going live"for the US leg. He KNEW he couldn't sing, but for fucks sake, I bet he loved that paycheck. And by the way, He didn't have to mime to feed his family. He has a lot of jack for 8 years worth of doing whatever it is he did for the band.

Now, care to edit your semen stained statement?

What if he's sorry? What if he now realizes he did wrong? Is he unforgivable in the eyes of this board, I wonder...

If Augeri were to EVER publicly apologize and admit what he did, and admit he was wrong, I would sing his praises for being a "great guy".

No doubt at all!

There is no ban on Steve or any other Journey member of their family members from posting at BT. Can we move on folks?

So let me get this straight.

It takes a guy in Australia, to let us know, what is or what isn't allowed on a US based forum/site?

Dude, I don't know if you realize this, but you just made it worse for Augeri.

I don't know what went down thats a fact, so I won't dispute with you about it. But bottom line: If his voice is gone and he is out of Journey he is a ruined man. That's penance enough in my book, and seeing a broken man doesn't get me off.

If he can't sing and now somebody who can gets a shot and my band lives on, I'm happy enough.

I, for one, would forgive him in an instant. As far as the big picture goes, it's not THAT big of a deal. I've been harsh, probably an asshole at times, but I do it because I hope he reads it. It'll, in my mind, give him and the rest of the band, an idea of how I felt. I promote Journey hard, always have. It took a long time for me to convince a lot of friends to give them a chance. They did and they liked them...a lot actually. It hurt to find out my FAVORITE band lipped. And it also embarrassed me. Their MUSIC means that much to me.

I have left jobs for that very reason. I don't cheat people. I don't lie to people. I don't steal from people. Criminals are scum, and cheaters and liars are criminals.

You don't know me from squat - yet now you are attacking my character? There are no tapes showing me to be a fraud. There is nothing at all that speaks of my personal life here. Where do you get off calling me a bold face liar?

That is hitting a bit below the belt.

If you lied to keep your job or stole some food to feed your family, you might get in trouble with the law, but most people would feel a degree of sympathy and understanding for what you did.

If you stole to feed your family I'd respect you a whole lot more than if you let them starve because "you got your principles." We are all people. If I was hungry enough and desperate enough, I'd do what I had to do. Hopefully I dont get there. I hope you dont either.

Okay, I will go off on this tangent one more time.

Stealing to feed your family is one thing. Stealing to keep your job is a totally different matter. I can always get another job - keeping a job doesn NOT equate to feeding your family.

I could sell my house, my cars, my belongings to feed my family. I would never steal or lie to keep a job - that is not me. If I was living in the forest with my family and had to break in to a grocery store for bread - yeah, I might consider it.

However, do NOT equate cheating to keep a job the same as cheating to keep your family ALIVE.

You are WAAAAAY off on this one.

In one thread, Augeri is a millionaire 2x over. Here, it's okay for a guy to lie & steal if he did it to feed his family. If Augeri is a millionaire he didn't need to lie & steal to feed his family.

Will u people pls make up ur minds what ur talking about? My head is spinning.

[not directed specifically at RSS here but all of u who claim to know or even think they know why what went down did]
