"Patiently" live in Houston 1980

Dang...I agree with Deano (Request a Live Song thread) when he said this is his favorite Perry vocal performance ever. However, the "Let it Be Me/Missing You" performance from SP's FTLOSM tour in NJ 95 is really good as well.

Let's see... I got ran out of Beaumont, drunk and lost in El Paso, went to boot camp in San Antonio, and was in a car accident in Fort Worth. On the flip side, I saw the most incredible lightning storm over west Texas and heard some good live music in Dallas. I like it best from above though... Texas looks really neat from an airplane window. :D

I stayed in San Antonio for about a month during the summer of 95. The most hot, miserable summer I spent anywhere. I don't want to ever repeat that again.

The Riverwalk was great tho. :D

HUGO IS THE ANSWER

Postby mack » Thu Aug 17, 2006 9:53 pm

If they want a great substitue until Augeri gets better, why don't they give HUGO a tryout.
As great a singer as Soto is, he is not right for this band.
At least give the fans the sound they want until Steve can come back. It will make for a great show.
HUGO is definitely the guy for this, he is doing a Journey tribute band now. Check out his website at journeyshow.com
It would be a story just like the movie Rockstar, guy gets to live out a dream.
(Soto could appreciate a story like that)
