bt has nothing better to do then complain about what jss wears??? hold me back people!! GRR!! who the blank really cares what he's wearing? he could show up wearing a bunny costume & he would still rock your booty off. is this the best they can do? i see at least 3 threads already discussing this. lame. they don't like the jeans with holes! are you kidding me??? wtf! }:C\ }:C| }:C/

jss please don't listen to this nonsense... you dress & look fine. i think people are just getting upset because you are doing such a great job fronting journey they feel like you might stay & that means no more SA. i just don't understand why people have to bitch (sorry) so much... find the littlest thing to complain about. i guess the best they CAN do is say they don't like your clothes! LOL! }:CPP take then off then... that will shut them up! };C)

i never knew journey was well known for it's keen fashion sense... do i need to show photos? }:CPP i'm a young 31 year old & i find jss hot as hell... & he would probably still look sexy wearing said bunny costume! };C) it's time for bt (the old folks) to go to bed already. okay i'm done. }:C)

that was my point really... who cares what jss is wearing. it just blows me away that some people can be so petty... some are REALLY digging deep to find some flaw with jss. i guess we should be happy the best they can do is dis his clothes! }:C)) bah!

No, not what's happening on BT, but the fact that some people feel the constant need to keep coming back here to bitch about it. BT is not MR. MR is not BT. Please get over it people and stop trying to turn one forum into the other.

If you don't like one or other of these forums, don't go there. I frequent both and I enjoy both, but I recognise their differences and ignore the threads that I don't care for on both sides.

I see nothing wrong with the post. I always check there to see what weird thing they are talking about next, or what comment they have locked down, or what stage in denial they are in. Someone said above that it was just as bad complaining about people complaining about what he wears.

So, is it much worse complaining about complaining about complaining? :lol:

I made mention of the "fashion police" in another thread, so I suppose I am not better myself. Nothing wrong with venting over here. This seems to be the only Journey forum you actually CAN complain in.

I had to get away from BT. It's been making my skin crawl for months and I can't take it any more. The introduction of "Prayer Circles" was vile enough but this crap about how Journey isn't a metal band and its singer should be dressed classy is the last straw!! They're complaining about jeans with holes in them!!!

BT is a pro-censorship/pro-war/pro-Bush/pro-Christian hell. It is now the most un-rock and roll forum on the planet. How'd that happen? Journey were/are a ROCK band!! For the love of Bhudda!!!

Surely it's time for Journey to bring in some new moderators to change the culture of the site? I wouldn't care if it was paid for by a group of fans - but this site represents the band on the internet and it does Journey's image no favours.

Totally. I think that's the bottom line, the band's image.

I'm not saying Journey should be seen on the same level as Motorhead or Motley Crue but Journey is a rock band and the focus on family, God and supporting the troops over at BT does not make it a place where fans from outside of conservative America want to be. I don't think the band appreciate the damage BT is doing.

Plus, you can't discuss Journey in any depth over there which kind of makes having a forum redundant. I mean I've only just heard about Steve A's miming allegations!

Well, then maybe the band should stop recording songs like Harms Way, Faith In The Heartland etc.

Frankly, I never understood posts about how the band is embarrassed by BT. THEN WHY IS IT THERE? Why haven't they gotten rid of any official forum? Why haven't they loosened the rules? People have been complaining about BT since 2001 and nothing has changed. I'm not saying the band loves it there, but if they were truly getting "damaged" they would have gotten rid of it ages ago... at least I hope they would have.

Agreed... But I do think the threads about people like Cherokee and her family are pretty cool. It's nice to hear stories of how Journey has touched certain fan's lives; nothing ever wrong with a real feel-good story...
As for the constant need to send prayers and good-vibes and wiggle-requests to someone that, not only NEVER replies back but, is probably no longer part of the band is getting pretty fuckin' boring! It will be nice when that rubbish gets moved to Prescious Time with all the Perry Threads. Actually they should make a whole new forum, the "AugeriHead Room" or something.

I love feel good stories. Heck, I love off topic posts, as well. But if you look at the substance here vs. the substance there you can see a HUGE difference.

Oh, and I said CERTAIN sissified men. I didn't actually say any names. They know who they are. It was not a blanket statement.

Oh, and to clear any further confusion up, there are a few good looking women over there as well - a couple who are actually cool, too. Heck, one or two of them post here from time to time. They are not ALL overweight housewives.
