Thanks for confirming that you're a full-blown mook, Knox. What a pointless, blanket insult.

Are you bucking for the job as Beano's understudy?

;^)

Actually, it says "certain sissified men." I think that disqualifies it from being a "blanket insult."

Nope, blanket insult, plain and simple. Evident to anyone with even half of a working brain cell.

Semantics...how boring. Just more of the same.

Semantics? Bullshit. Here's the defintion moron: "An indefinite but limited number; some" You are wrong again, plain and simple. Beat it railbird.

No, not bullshit. The post clearly implied that only bored housewives and "sissified men" spend time at BT, and that was a blanket insult. Like I said, semantics.

Beat it railbird.

Hah! It'll take far more than an admonition from you to inspire me to take my leave from here.

I see you've now taken out the word "certain." You've just exposed your flawed argument. Beat it little man.

Roxx, did you just skip over the word "certain", or do you not realize that "certain" limits the no. of "sissified men" in the statement. Therefor, it is impossible for that sentence to encompass ALL men at BT. Heck, I still have an open account at BT, so I certainly wouldn't lump all men together with that statement.

Or would I  .

Diagram the sentence and you will see that it is impossible for it to be a blanket statement.

OK, guys...I'll play along.

Here's Knox's quote:

"Aside from the bored housewives and certain sissified men, it {BT} is basically DEAD."

I dunno...kinda looks like a blanket statement to me.

Thanks, Knox...I've read a number of cool things from you both here and at BT, so there's definitely nothing personal at work here.

Ahhhh, Roxx.... Thanks - I forgot I said basically - another term that quantifies it as a NON blanket stament.

So, we have.... "Certain"
and we have.... "Basically"

Whew, for a minute there I thought I might be wrong  ...

Nothing personal (as always), this is even better than watching Jimmy Neutron with my daughter right now

If you're talking regulars, I can't comment since I don't spend much time over there at all anymore. I know a few who post there occasionally who definitely don't fit your description, present company included.

For Coxx to even look this up, speaks volumes. I bet it was archived in his "Man" folder on his computer.

Sorry to have to point out yet another wrong answer from ya, Beano. Just happened to come acroos this pic while doing a Google image search, and saved it, knowing I'd have use for it some day.

That would be today.
