While some of what you say is correct, I think you're taking quantity for quality when you say: "They've been together LONGER with SA than with SP!" Cause if we're gonna start comparing numbers, Augeri is about 60 million behind in album sales. Not to mention Greatest Hits outsold the two and a half Augeri albums over the last 8 years about 10 to 1.

Did you REALLY expect SA to waltz into JOURNEY return them to radio glory on the heels of SP quitting/getting fired (and SS departed)??? Nobody in their right mind ever believed JOURNEY would be the stars they were back in the 80's.

My point was clear to say that if there was no chemistry that they would've made a move a long time ago. As it is they didn't.

My point was clear to say that if there was no chemistry that they would've made a move a long time ago. As it is they didn't.

I'd say that there was very little or no chemistry in their music. The two and a half albums sucked. But they got along very well as friends/co-workers. As far as them keeping him, the tours were going well even though every album flopped, and firing him would've given Perry a boner; Something they weren't going to do unless they absolutely had to. Now, they have the "excuse" because of Augeri's "vocal issues." So now they can do what they've probably wanted to do for a few years. Let him go.

What I do know is that he broke the Steve A. Voice Enhancement Assembly Line. He took alot of crap from numerous people who thought he was crazy. I for one thought he was a loon on that one. He was correct. That alone ought to give him MAJOR MAJOR stroke at this site.
