NP: Don't Stop Believin' - Journey

Equally brilliant! :D I don't care how much that song gets played it never grows old.

I love the way they use it in The Wedding Singer.

That's funny you should bring up the Wedding Singer... I've been looking for a recording of the string quartet version of DSB all this week.

Was this version ever made available? It's not on either of the soundtracks - but am hoping it has appeared somewhere. Is there a bootleg of it?

Not that I know of, I know of no bootleg either. I think a solution may be to hire a quartet and make them play while you record :)

NP: Any Way You Want It - Journey

Another classic rocker with great singning from Mr. P! Also used very schrewdly in Charlie's Angels 2: Full Throttle

Actually, I'm getting married in December...so that could be a great idea...

Have you seen the episode of the Simpsons where Grandpa rolls up in a convertible full of babes...with "Anyway You Want It" playing on the stereo?

Also...there's a great scene featuring "Anyway You Want It" in Dave Eggers' best-seller "A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius."

Really? Congratulations :D

LOL no, but it sounds hilarous! Simpsons is a brilliant show and it's incredible that the writers can just keep on going. Isn't it like the 18th season which is coming up?

Okay didn't know of that book. Will make sure to check it out...

Phil Collins " Against All Odds"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8Z9wsZc9Qg

Take a good look at me now,
'cos I'll still be standing here
And you coming back to me is against all odds
That's the chance I've got to take, oh, oho
:?

Where's are they playing, LF? A friend of mine saw Dio play in London earlier this year - and they played the entire "Holy Diver" album from start to finish - and he said old RJD sounded as good as ever.

Here you go I adore this song,

Rainbow In The Dark 8)

Do your demons - do they ever let you go
When you've tried - do they hide -deep inside
Is it someone that you know
You're a picture - just an image caught in time
We're a lie - you and I
We're words without a rhyme

"FANTASY"

City Nights
Summer breeze makes you feel alright
Neon-lights
Shining brightly make you brain ignite
See the girls with the dresses so tight
Give you love, if the price is right
Black or white
In the streets there's no wrong and no right

Haven't heard this in a while....

Mama - Genesis

Who said Collins-era Genesis was a sell-out? This song was as fresh and inventive as anything they released in the 1970s.
