I'll be honest, he was very good on Faithfully. (See, I don't have it out for the man) Hit all the high notes near the end perfectly... not sure why he had so much trouble with Escape, then.

Open Arms, I don't recall. That was my bathroom break. 8)

A suit & tie like he was selling them an insurance policy? A golf shirt and khakis so he'd look like he came down from the IT dept. to fix their computer? I mean come on. This is a rock concert. Performers at rock concerts wear jeans & t's or jeans & shirts. Get a grip people.

Well, she said that Augeri wore "nice" outfits... I personally rarely saw him in jeans. Even Perry wore a tux, LOL.

I don't know, it doesn't make a huge difference to me, but Augeri did have style.

#3 is not jeans.

A denim jacket is much nicer than jeans.

And again, these are rare occasions. Most of the time he did not wear jeans, let alone a T-shirt.

My bf & me walked into a place that said "no jeans". He was in black jeans just like Augeri is wearing in #3. They said "sorry, no jeans". Jeans are jeans dude. Nowadays they come in blue, red, green, yellow...

I could find more but I obviously wont convince u so it would be a waste of time. Augeri wore jeans a lot.

He didnt wear tees a lot. I'll give u that.

I felt so old reading this post. I keep forgetting that Journey have such a mumsy fan base now.

Next you'll be telling JSS to brush his hair and tuck his shirt in...

I can not believe that there is actually a discussion and debate going on here on what the singer of Journey (no matter who it is) should be wearing! This isn't KISS or the Village People where everyone MUST dress to a specific code so that the fans can identify them on-stage. These are 5 individuals show express their individuality, in part, by what they where. Fire has previously refered to not wanting "a Metal Guy in jeans and a wife-beater" fronting Journey... What does Jeff's clothes have to do with his vocal abilities??? Heck, not only is Jeff's style his own but it is just the RIGHT style to drawn interest to all the younger folks out there looking for a new favorite band to listen to.
You wanna talk about crappy clothes, take a look at Jon's stage outfits from the ROR days or Ross's blue jump-suit from the Frontiers tour... Big deal, did their clothes suddenly make you say, "Wow, Ross can really work that Bass but it's so hard for me to concetrate because of that outfit!"
Fire, I know you think I pick on you but you really set yourself up w/ some of the teent-bopper crap you worry about.
You want to see some dressed up, go to Vegas and catch Wayne Newton :)
Welcome to Terminus... You hungry?

Because he was overcompensating for something else.
Can't really hear the tapes all that well, if all the rows of pigwomen are hypnotized by his designer Gucci pants.

Uh, if you'll read above, I said it doesn't particularly matter to me. These were the comments of my friend at the show.
