yep ,, he ruled!!! his sound, that band!! i love the guitar,, neal did that for me,, but i must say , it was the voice that turned me to journey!!!! everybody rocks!!!!

The whole show was great, obviously, But watching Perry sing Mother Father with all that soul...DAMN. Fucking AMAZING.
I'm still pissed that my brother was in the audience for that show. Fucker. :lol:

The fucker was the king, wasn't he. That was at the top of his game. Vocally the dude ruled. I've been listening to a live boot from 79 for a few days. Perry could do it night after night in the stratosphere. I don't know if he carried a set vice grips for each nut or what but that fucker was on. And no "enhancements" were happening back then. They RULED.
