I'm done with work for the day, I usually take an hour or so to rest my ears, so don't worry, I'll listen to it later.

I just wanted you to have it and I had some free time earlier while I was recording the audio I had to work on.

Is anyone else hearing a bit of trade off between Deen and Jeff? Listened to ATL and DSB, just sounded to me a little like Jeff was singing the lower parts, and Deen was coming in on the very very high parts (head voice)....I could be wrong. But it sounds very good!

I heard that too. They mesh well together.

They do sound good together, that's why I hope those two will work in some of those Perry/Rolie duets eventually.

Dead or Alive is NOT a hard song to sing at all. The BAND rocks, but that's not a difficult vocal at all. NEAL could do it.

Thought I heard that, wasn't sure. DSB actually did sound pretty good. Until the end run that he does.

Except for the part where Perry goes off into the stratosphere. :) Other than that, it's a "low" range tune for Perry, which means anyone with a decent voice could do it.

Yup. Still reaching on "Stone in Love". He's a bit flat because of it. Same with "Ask the Lonely". However, IF he takes care of himself, maybe he can gain a note in his range by singing higher songs like this and learning to sing the higher stuff correctly.

I would really like to hear a professional "boot" on some of these tunes. In the boots we're hearing, even the band sounds out of whack.

No, what I meant was it seemed in places like they were trading off on some parts. Like on Ask The Lonely, at 3:30, Jeff has a real Chris Cornell thing going on with the "When you're down in deep dispair, when you're down in deep dispair," then it sounds like a totally different voice singing "Ask tha lone lone lone lone lone lonely," etc, so I just thought it might be Deen, cause it sounded very clear compared to the other parts. Got the same impression during "Don't Stop Believin'," at the end the "Hold onto that feelayaan" at 3:54-3:58 sounded like a different vocal (Deen) than the rest of the tune. I could be completely wrong, that's what it sounded like to me...

1. Thanks for the time in uploading these. We all appreciate it !

2. Hopefully Jeff can get some of the flat spots ironed out. He sounds pretty good, but rough in a few spots.

If he can,

I think the "Jeff and Deen" thing should be explored when they record....IMO of course.

Jrnyjunky,

Thanks very much for posting the files. This is the best quality boot with JSS I've heard so far.

Thanks again and cheers.

I made it through half the concert before I had to turn the fucker off. So this is after the big break at the end of July that gives everyone a break to prepare to be on top of their game, right? IMO, bottom line, it sucked big time. Castro rocks and the rest fuckin sucked. Sounds nothing like Journey at all. I stand by what I said after seeing them live at Indy and hearing the early boots, they suck. I sound better than that shit and that's not saying much. I'm done with these fuckers until additional changes are made. I'll head east to see Evolution first.

Journey, do yourselves a favor, quit embarrassing yourselves and bag it. Call what it, Soul SirkUS, and go do your thing.

Deano, what the fuck is your deal? What are you hearing that I'm not here? You did a 180 a few weeks back with no explanation. Get JSS's cock out of your mouth and have a listen with your ears.

FINALLY!!!

I got to listen to it.

Good soundin boot, you guys should hear the original audio files. OMG!!! I upped the bitrate on the mp3s I posted, they sound good too.

I like the way Deen sounds on this, a little hoarse, but it's sexy! And backing up Jeff, they sound great together.

JSS has few rough parts, but he aslo has some real beauties I'll take the energy and difference he brings to the show over flawless-sound-just-like-the-album vocals anyday.

Anyway, YOUR WELCOME to all of you!!!
