marty , marty , marty!! those were amazing, you should do that for a living :D , im amazed at how many postions you were at!!! some look like you were on the stage with them,, all the pics with (ross + others in one shot ) look like classics,, i like the ones where you have one guy out front and 2 others standing together behind,,, really has a cool effect,,

Thanks Larry. I do like to get more than just 'straight on' shots of individuals. I think capturing the band members interacting with each other, or just taken from the odd quirky angle makes an image more dynamic and interesting to look at. That's not easy with Jeff as he's like a whirlwind on stage and moves around SO fast. It makes for a high failure rate.

I'm hoping to have the Marysville pics ready by tomorrow - I'm happier with those than these shoreline pics, as I'm still experimenting with the best settings to use. Hopefully by Seattle (my last show) I'll have it sorted and get some really good ones.

Amazing pictures Marty. I agree, catching the band members interacting makes the photos awesome.

Just curious, what kind of camera do you use, is it digital or one of the old fashioned ones? :D

Hi MSR, I'm all digital now. For these I was using a Canon 20D.

Sallee, I'd love to see a shot of your tattoo, if you have one. I'm always fascinated by inkwork. Where'd you get it done?

Right off the bat I don't have a full on pic of my tattoo Jabber. I got it done here in Marysville by a guy named Robert. Robert is one of the best tattoo people here. :D
