Depressing songs - I'm pissing my wife off!

Postby AR » Sun Sep 10, 2006 1:19 pm

I have been playing the most depressing songs of all time tonight and my wife has had it with me. LOL Just followed up Marillion's tribute to alcoholism - the Clutching at Straws album with Kansas's Dust in the Wind.

If I play Trial By Fire in it's entirety there may be a mass suicide.

May be time for something up tempo. A frying pan to my face could be in my immediate future.

There is a difference? Ok, play an Augeri "live" boot..pre 05, when he actually sang. You will wake up with a knife in your heart. I am surprised Schon is still alive after having lived with that shit for 5 years.

If you had an ear to any of my conversations with Deano, you'd wouldn't think that. Niggy is the one in trouble. He has to deal with both of us.

Not gonna chime in on depressing songs but want to point out that Clutching at Straws is an INCREDIBLE album!

Anyone heard that newer band, Blue October??? They sing a tune called "Hate Me" being played alot. Dude sounds JUST LIKE FISH, it's scary.

Misplaced Childhood is just as depressing, BTW :)

Most of Leonard Cohen but it's great background music for a cocktail party.

Usually taken with a large bottle of wine.

Chris Isaak is another good "get lost in misery" artist.
