This morning, I watched some of the live coverage from that day.
As a New Yorker, it touched me deeply. Once again.
Five years ago, the mother of a friend of mine was at the Towers that morning on business. He was frantically trying to get in touch with her, but of course, couldn't. He was thinking the worst, until many hours later he finally reached her. She was one of the lucky ones.
God Bless all the families, friends, co-workers, firefighters, police, and all the workers, who lost loved ones that day. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Always.
