Steve Perry Spoke....

Postby Saint John » Tue Sep 19, 2006 10:23 am

to Brian Anderson of the White Sox recently. A few days ago during a local pre-game White Sox show they asked Anderson if it was time for another "rally" song. He said he didn't think so, but if they did adopt one that they "would stick with Steve P." He also said he's remained in contact with Perry and that he's been very busy writing and "working on new stuff." What that means is anyone's guess, but I expect to hear some definitive news within a few months, if not sooner. It's just good to hear that he's doing something other than petting his fuckin' cat.

He's been"very busy writing and working on new stuff" for about 10 years, lol.

I hope we get at least one more from him, but it's hard to get too excited again. If he does come out with something, I'll be hard to live with for awhile, lol. :D

I'm going with this one. ^^^

Momentum's gone, telling people the same old lines just doesn't inspire any sort of interest in me like it used to. I'm at the point of "somebody let me know if he does anything." Like burps the scales or something. (Yes I am a Perry fan. But I stopped holding my breath 10 yrs ago. The forthcoming unreleased tracks are more than I hoped for.)

Thanks for the link Paloofer. Mmmmmm, yes he does Granny! He is looking younger everytime ya see him, looks early 40s, not closer to 60. Life must be treating him well, either that or it is those fine Porteguese genes.

There is some great shots of JSS with Journey from the Jersey show on the 15th too! :)

He definitely looks thinner & more fit lately...add that to the WS comment & maybe it means he is gonna take the stage - (some stage, somewhere...hoping very much.)

How are you guys seeing how "good" he looks? I'm only seeing thumbnail photos in which he's just a dot. If there's a way to see them larger, pls let me know. Thanks :)

Register for the site and you get a larger image. It took me less than aminute to register. He looks like he's lost at least 25 pounds in the last few months. That, coupled with what I've been hearing is very encouraging. Early next year folks, book it.

When I tried to register it wanted at least $10/month. I'm not paying to see celeb pics no matter who they are.

Perry went to THAT game?

Lucky bastard. Dodgers were down 9-5 in the bottom of ninth. Hit FOUR consecutive home runs to tie it, the padres took one run lead in 10th, and then LA hit a two run homer in bottom of 10th to win it. It was amazing to watch.
