I do think this was the first time they played this song with Jeff.

Sorry about the "sauce" in the mix.
Also worked on Girl Can't help It and Daydream.

So when do we get the Journey headlining tour?

IBAWY is really good! JSS's natural raspiness and power captures the essence of the song.Love it! :)

Can't say the same thing about Daydream,tho...
Maybe it's because that song is etched in my mind with Perry's crystal clear high-pitched voice.

Thanks for the clips,Digs.

Thank's Digs!...These both sound a bit rough to me, but it was only a soundcheck so I can't be too critical of them. Maybe he was just getting warmed up..........never quite understood the Daydream lyric's. Who wrote that one? Perry?

I wonder why they are playing it in the soundcheck if Neal hates it. Maybe JSS is a fan of the song?

IBAWY was bluesy as F, slowed down and all during the Augeri era....had a lot of swagger to it.

This tune should definately be resureccted this leg.

It's about time they add IBAWY & GGHI to the set.

They Augeri-led lineup nailed IBAWY when I saw them. Excellent groove.

Both tunes should be included in every show.

JSS sounds great!

IBAWY sounds pretty good- always liked that song. Daydream (one of my all-time favs) needs a little work, but it would be great to hear that one too eventually. I'm personally getting a little burnt out from just hearing the "dirty dozen" every time.

I don't think excluding Positive Touch from the set lists is stupid. That song and the album it infests is not consistent with what the current lineup is dishing out.

I thought we were talking about "Girl Can't Help It"...

Anyway..what is the current line-up dishing out? Surely it's the same 12 songs they've been dishing out for the last eight years?

As for the "album it infests"...well, I'd be interested to see whether Journey/JSS could reinvent these songs by rearranging them or playing heavier versions.

I hate Daydream. I refuse to listen to the clip. Fuck that song.

IBAWY is perfect. Perfect for Jeff's voice, perfect rendition of the song by him. It's a little slow, but who cares. I think he'd sound awesome on the TBF stuff.

Maybe they're finally getting a clue and gearing him toward a little of the deeper Perry stuff. He sounds good on most stuff but he sounds unbelievably good on the deeper registers.

I'd love to hear him do something like Still She Cries from TBF, or, as mentioned before, One More. It's Just the Rain.

That song rocks more than several of the songs that are currently in the set list, i.e. "Open Arms", "Faithfully", "Who's Crying Now", and "Ask the Lonely".

Never mind then, if we were discussing anything from ROR.
