So we need two separate threads and the same pics?

By the way, it should say "ex Journey lead singer."

But hey, he looks good and let's hope we can hear from him soon.

Looks better than HOT; do u think he may have had some work done on his face.? Chin looks like it did 20 years ago. No neck hanging stuff. He truly looks like a ROCK STAR! :) Hmmmmmmm, getting ready as was said on here. :D I'm saving my money just in case he decides to tour. I must be dreaming! or definitely wishful thinking. We will all be very disappointed if nothing happens next year. You will all have to come and hold me up if nothing happens. :)

Hope his voice is recovered. He really lost it and its just so sad that age robs us of everything in the end. Hell in 91 at the Bill Graham tribute the songs were two steps lower ! Poor guy. I hope that was just a fluke and not a shot voice. I have to say that hearing him speak during the white sox stuff doesnt have me hopeful of him ever sounding close to his former self. His speaking voice was very scratchy. Fingers crossed though. I really think that TBF was pro tools "enhanced". I hope I am wrong.

Oh I just saw the pics. Looks like he dropped about 20 pounds since the star in hollywood. Good for him. I think he may have had some neck/chin work but just maybe working out did it for him.

I hate to say it but you are totally right. It's simply age and the instrument was wore out from frequent use. Another guy in the same boat is Bob Seger. He was on Jay Leno last week and it's clear his voice is totally shot!!!!! And yet, isn't it great how diehard fans "drink the kool aid"? No matter how rough and bad sounding his voice was (and at times totally off key) they still said his Jay Leno performance last week was "great". It really was not at all. And the song was a total rehash of Against the Wind and all of the Against the Wind imitation songs he's ever wrote.

At least the mustache and the side boards that could wrap around his head are gone.

Kind of like the way some people see a show and say it's great, then you hear the bootleg of the same show and it's crap.

Granny I agree with you the guy is HOT! Who gives a shit, he's still got it ,never lost it,and seems we are on with a bunch of ole guys that are jealous as hell! This man rocks my boat any day any time!Stevie could teach them all lessons! At least when he was with Journey they broke records in sales and countless hits!Don't even give a shit if he is 57 years old!Granny he's hot!

He looks healthy. Good pics. It should say EX lead singer. I think people will associate Perry the Journey lead singer till the end of time! probably to the majority he still is, and to me he will always the greatest singer of all time, but not only that - once he left Journey a big part of Journey died along the way, obviously.

My two cents. Bringing in Steve Augeri tarnished the band in my opinion, not because of the tape gate drama, but because Perry simply cannot be re-placed by sound-alike, and simular name, simular alot of things (at that time period) also singing the song the way Perry did. bringing JSS into the picture is a move of strength, somthing that should of been done 8 years ago. A new CD with JSS would be the best thing they could of done in 8 years in my opinion.
