Calm down dude! It seems you want a lot of people banned from this forum and have issues with Andrew.Why not PM him and keep this between the two of you until you are happy.If on the other hand you are not pleased with things here,try BT its not so much about the music but you wont be so easily upset,unless 'Lovefests' and 'Wiggle' posts upset you as well.

It's not so funny when someone stands up the forum bullies, is it? This is long overdue. Andrew's handling of RockNDeano embrazened TNC, St. John, and a few others to cross the line of decency. It is possible to have a heated debate without calling others obscene names. Perhaps this forum isn't for children, but foul language is just unpleasant. For some reason, some people feel that by using foul language, they make their points stronger. This is false. Using foul language only turns people off from having an intellectual debate...so really the person hasn't won the argument, they have just discouraged others from examining the point any further. Those that do this are forum bullies plain and simple...they have some psychological need to hammer people over the head with their views. Andrew has encouraged this by occassionally dropping to their level, and even at times yucking it up with them.

I've had enough of this crap. There is still some good discussion here, this thread was a good example of that. Having to wade through the filth and unpleasantries has severely detracted from the experience, though.

I think that Andrew has realized that for the most part, the posters who post here, have turned it into the type of forum it is. He has threatened many times, closed it down a few times and has just come to the conclusion that it has a life all it's own and has decided to let us govern ourselves. The only way to make this work is ignore a post that you may feel is antagonistic, as many do mine, lol.

The last thing that Andrew wants to do is shut this forum down as it is his most popular and I bet he enjoys it as much as we do. By now, he has many of our personalities down pat and must often just consider the source and that is what we all should do. JMHO

At the time of his consideration, Chalfant could sing circles around Augeri and the by-then vocally debilitated Steve Perry.
Journey braintrust, Herbie H., has commented frequently on how Chalfant is a considerably better singer than Augeri, but doesn't look as good and isn't is as good of an upstanding citizen.
Does Herbie still feel Augeri is an upstanding pillar of moral rectitude even after TapeGate?

Well, going back to Augeri's early career, he always relied a great deal on his low range in conjunction with his high range. Kevin, on the other hand, has always been more of a full-blown tenor.
Singing the ultra-high pitched Perry dozen nite after nite must've wreaked havoc on Augeri's pipes.
