I'm now on board 100%

I was very hard on the band when the change was made. I haven't liked the past few years with Augeri either. The band seemed sluggish and old. To be honest, I wanted Perry to close the deal, and for the band to go out on top. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see Perry and the guys bury the hatchet and blow us away with a final tour when the time comes.

I'm liking everything I now see. JSS has made a believer out of me. The buzz, energy, seems sky high. I love it. It feels good to be excited about a show again. I can't wait to catch a show on the next leg of the tour. Bring on some new music too. :D

When I'm wrong, I'll admit it.

What were you wrong about?

I'll agree that JSS delivers. There's no doubt about that. But it's one thing to be on the "golden oldie" tour circuit and another to produce a new Journey CD that the average public ACCEPTS and to TOUR based on that new music.

I think JSS rocks. He's a great singer and a terrific front man. However, I'm going to wait and see what they eventually produce, how it sounds and whether or not they play more than one song from any new material IN CONCERT before I decide that Journey has moved on.

Granted, they don't need my permission to do anything and as a consumer, I don't need their permission to like or dislike something either. Wait and see is good enough for me because I am WAY too tired of the "oldies" as the main focus of every friggin' Journey concert I've been to in the past skatey-eight years. Enough is enough.
