Loosest Journey Show

Postby brywool » Wed Sep 27, 2006 4:07 am

So I downloaded the Long Beach 1986 New Years show from another place.
BY FAR the loosest Journey show I've ever heard. Perry's voice is pretty wrecked and he was in a really wild mood, even Neal's really out of tune in spots and totally screws with the song arrangements during Separate Ways and others. Pretty funny to listen to. gutars101

Actually....I wouldn't recommend doing that. I think Clasic got reamed for it. Guitars101.com ---> Forums ---> Bootlegs Other Bands. Direct links might be a bad thing but that'll help ya get there. :-)

OH and as far as LISTENING....I THINK that show's in WMA format so all you need is your Windows Media Player. :-)

ITunes will convert it to mp3 too. Yeah, I wish people wouldn't post wma's, but they're worth the extra crap.

I'm actually kinda glad 'cause with WMP I can play mp3s OR wma's. I generally use winamp for my mp3's though.
I HATE ITUNES.

Granny,

You will have to register at Guitars101 to be able to download the concert. Then, you will have to have WinRAR software to extract the files.

I did get reamed a bit for my posting their links here. So I suggest everyone just register there, and then everyone will be happy ! :D

Does anyone have an unedited version of this show???? It's annoying to hear the blackouts when "I'm so Strung Out on your ass" etc.

Yes, you can get a free trial of WinRAR extractor here...............

http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

Click on WinRAR 3.61 at the top of the page..........

I can't remember how many days free you get, but at least it would work for now. I have the full version of WinRAR, and I didn't have to pay a penny for it.

I was at this show. I will always remember it. Lots of swearing by Perry and tons of boozing. Good show. I got the boot.

There are many better though.

Rough in spots and brilliant in spots. LOVE him singing Old Aung Syne (sp?). Yeah, he was pretty naughty on this one. Esp right before LTS, if I remember correctly.

didn't he do a great cover of Stand By Me at this concert?
