Actually, that could be exactly what Neal needs. Journey made some of it's best music while the guys were "at odds" with each other. It's about passion!

Dude,

Ditto on the Carrot Top comment. I spent a few days at the Luxor in Vegas last month. Carrot Top was playing there and his "promotional" posters were fuckin scary. He looked like a Devil Clown or something. It could definitely be worse.

L8r,

Aaron

I believe Neal had a distaste for Augeri and overall (with the exception of "Beyond the Clouds") their working relationship was unfruitful.

Maybe so, but I doubt Steve ever pushed back. I think there needed to be more friction. In the end, I wonder if the thing we fans admired most about Steve (humble, classy, nice guy) created the apathy and lethargy in the band....

Do you really believe that tension and distaste between band members creates good music? Seems it has torn a few bands apart. I can think of several that disbanded because of the drama, and what a shame.

No, they're all referring to Justin Guarini, I guess ignorance is bliss in comparing a 40 year old Puerto Rican to a 20 something year old Mulatto boy, goes to show people just aim racial shit because they couldn't care less in researching facts 1st. Honestly, I could care less, part of the game until you're a household name, which Guarini became for a short while, at least they're not comparing me to Carrot Top :)

You're much sexier than Carrot Top.

Did I say THAT out loud, too?

NTC was right - I'M GAY!

I do think it creates great music but of course there is that price to pay.

I'm all for pimpin' a Boogie Knights fro at the beginning of the show just to put people on. I'd love it, but I'm sure a lot of people would take it too serious and wouldn't.
