JSS is being listed as vocalist at the ticket sites for the UK shows.

The fact people still hold out hope is embarrasing.

Any day now.......Usually when you want to get info out with the least amount of fanfare, you do it on a Friday...In the White House it was called "taking out the trash."

Maybe they will announce it tomorrow.

I just booked the tickets for the London show from Journey's official agent...which listed JSS as the singer.

I think Deano's right, the announcement is imminent now and will probably have official word by Monday...I think its only fair to the fans booking tickets for the new leg of the tour to give confirmation who they're actually going to be seeing.

I just booked my tix for the Hammersmith show! Well expensive at £40.00 per ticket tho, but judging by Deano's colourful review of his night sounds like it could be worth every penny!

The promoters have pitched the ticket prices about ten quid too high but I'm sure they'll sell out most nights.

It really is time for them to say something. That's nearly 3 months JSS has been with them.

Maybe Deano's right and they will announce it today... who knows.

Frostbite - it was the show in Edinburgh last June. To be fair, Neal and Deen were brilliant - but Augeri was a wet lettuce that night - and Cain looked almost angry that he had to be there at all. There was also a totally budget stage set and the sound was dodgy - although that might just have been the venue.

The atmosphere was great though - as it would be in a place jam-packed with easy-to-please die-hards - but overall this was a show by a band going through the motions - and my girlfriend spent most of the Journey concert wondering about all the various handbags and shoes we could have bought her instead.

Still - the only hard rock show she'd seen before was the KISS reunion concert - so it's tough for any band to top that one.

For me though - after a twenty year wait - the Journey show was a real anti-climax. Anyway...that was then...bring on next March!

She's a shopper too, Matt? If and when you get over here, bring her....I'll bring her all over the city shopping for shoes and handbags

This was a hard choice...Had to go with Augeri, though. I think Monker has too many closets to come out of. Impossible.

Ah yes! I heard Jon Cain looked really pissed off at a couple of the uk and europe shows. Wonder what was going on there? I think that was one of the shows the old (ssssshh) tapes were at play. Deano might be able to shed light on that. I suppose anything is going to pale into insignificance against a KISS show but it sounds like a few of those gigs in June were simply wet blankets.

seem to recall Andrew closing a "humourous" poll I started a while ago, regarding whether Monker was male or female!

He deemed it "insuitable" .... wonder if he has seen this yet.... and is going to do the same..or is his sense of right n wrong amplified , only when Im involved... not paranoia Andrew old chum.. just the facts !!

No he aint mate!!!

A promoter/Manager of one of the UK venues is a close friend of mine and he personally phoned the promoter of the UK shows next year (called him in the States) and was told that the lineup is definately with Augeri on voc's.

A few people have said there is an announcement coming very soon. I think we all know what that's gonna be.

But when will it happen?

Call me skeptical.
However, I said JSS was listed as vocalist...nothing about whether he really is or not.
But c'mon, it is painfully obvious that Steve (even if he IS still trying to return to Journey) will not be a part of this UK tour.
