Come on John! Schon wants his name to become a household word. My idea is the only way.

At long last fame. His name in lights.

That's really only an assumption.
But I imagine Neal wants to put the era quickly behind him.
Why do u think he was so quick to flee town and create SoulSirkus away from Journey?
He knew the ship was sinking and wanted OUT! FAAAASSSST!

It'll be complete and utter sanitized pap. Off-record they will shoot the shit about the generous use of tapes, but in the interview it'll be treated HIGHLY sensitively. Prolly referred to as Steve's "continuous vocal challenges" or some vague nonsense.

Its a difficult thing to bring up and keep relations with the band cool at the same time, though when this blew up i belive Andrew contacted the band regarding the allegations. So they are aware that people have questions regarding the tape shit! I am sure that if Andrew can touch on the subject carefully he will, this is not BT ,its strange that BT never have any interviews on the official board but do here? Says a lot about what the band thinks :?

The only thing that I want to know is how long ago was it that the band told Andrew about the tapes being used before Dean and his bombastic personality were brought aboard to get it to the posters here. Dean admitted that Andrew brought it to his atention.

Did Andrew already know about this at the time of the bands last individual interviews? Must have. How sad. Augeri said that he was glad that Perry came to the WOF ceremony because Perry deserved to be there just as much as he Augeri did.

Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive.

Makes you feel that nothing is as it seems. What good can come from building on that?

Excuse my Twat? I NEVER said Andrew brought it to my attention. NEVER. You maggot infested cumbucket.

The Band would never tell anyone! They were found out. How fucking stupid are you? Yeah, Neal called Drew and said "Mac, we are using tapes." Nice investigative work HOTS.

Hey Deano...

Two things...first and foremost...it's JOHN! More importantly...you amuse the hell out of me, so I wasn't being critical at all. I know a lot of people detest you here, but the way I look at it...You bring something to the table! When I want to read the same mindless posts about Augeri's red leather pants, and let's all hold hands and sing We are the world, I know I can go over to BT for that! Your postings alone make this place MUCH more interesting to visit for the laughs and the information!

I don't have to prove it. A lot of people caught it and it was discussed among us.

You started the blog and it was decided that you leave the Mr. board to avoid contamination. You were pissed at first and stated that, after all it was Andrew himself who brought it to your attention.

Call me all the names that you want. It only shows how your use of filth is your only line of defense when you lack credibility.

My only intent is to show how you were simply used as the "hit man" and not the saviour of the band. Any band that would welcome you as their PR man has got to be desperate.

You don't heve the backing for your attacks on the DL band and I hope it turns around and bites you on the ass on that one. Just as Andrew stated, "Nobody cares," where Journey is concerned.

I think Neal Schon's far less worried about this issue than you are. He mentioned in 1 interview it might be nice to become a household name and you've tried to make fun of that here about 4300 times. In reality, he's only SLIGHTLY less a household name than Perry.

You can't be serious! Have you heard Neal sing?? The guy is a guitarist for a reason! I think Neal is a superb guitarist. I also think even Neal is smart enough to never think he has the vocal talents to sing Journey's catalog of music! Journey's catalog is one that is EXTREMELY challenging to sing, even for the most talented vocalists. It is simply not music that should ever be sung by those who aren't talented enough vocalists. There is a reason Neal has been paying his billls through the 6 string all these years. Nothing would alienate Journey fans more than Neal taking over vocals! I certainly wouldn't ever listen to Journey again (unless it was a Perry-sung track)!

I'd have to go with John on this one.....I'd never listen to Journey again either if Neal was put on lead vocals. Great guitar player but lead singer/frontman he's NOT!

Yes...that about sums it all up! I've actually seen that video several times over the years, and it's still amazing to me that someone told Neal that he should be singing lead vocals, ANYWHERE! The man is a brilliant guitarist, and that should be more than enough to feed his ego!

I think that was the first time I've heard him sing lead vocals....I think he has a good voice, actually surprised me with that...but I can see the point that he wouldn't fit doing Journey's lead vocals. I can't see that working.

It's interesting you say this...but, that's not what I heard through the grapevine, or what was posted here. What I surmise is some people here had a little clique going on, which Dean was a part of...and it was discussed amongst them...and Dean took it from there...even though not all of that clique agreed to the extremes that Dean took things.

I still think they will eventualy have to come up with an answer...What exactly are they going to say when they are asked how JSS came on board? Are they going to lie?

For the record- Dean never named anyone, not Andrew, not anyone with regards to his sources. Keep speculating, I'm bored and enjoy the laughs   .
