FINALLY- Atlantic City Sounds..Live Boot

Here finally, are a few songs off the Atlantic City, NJ show.

This is soundboard boot, and Elson left out the crowd noise. There is no ambience, however, what you hear is exactly how they sound. It's as if they are playing live in your living room.....

Whooo Deano, this is freaking awesome. This needs to get out there.
I was there that show, coming over all the way from Netherlands, I shook your hand (don't know
if you still remember that).

That night you already spoke of this boot. I do hope you get permission to get this to the
rest of the fans. Don't tease us with samples get it out in the open.

Listening now... dynamite. Wish it was video so JSS' stage presence could be appreciated. That's a big part of the performance.

Thanks Deano. They are cookin here. Just imagine what a live DVD of this would sound like when everything is mixed, balanced and processed slightly. Huge improvement from the early boots.

Listened....

it was ok.... during the real "highs" seems like Deen takes over, and the taped "backing vocals" are taken up in the mix..so pretty much like it sounded with Augeri in that respect.

Its adequate.. but for me.... JSS doesnt have that "special" voice that makes the likes of Perry(or Augeri, when at his best... in the studio !!)..... Jamieson, or even Bickler stand out from the crowd... its a good voice, but simply doesnt have the "wow" factor.

If thats as good as its gonna get... its gonna have to be the quality of any new songs that are gonna clinch it, and not the singer...which is a complete reverse for Journey!!

Boot sounds very good, even with the guitar slightly out of tune.

I wonder when they are going to remove Augeri's vocals from the backing track.

or am I hearing Deens backing vocals...straying into lead vox? or is it indeed Augeri on taped back vox??

too many uncertainties here.... all 3 voices seem melded together... who the fuck is singing what here??

Granny, when you click on the link, it should take you right to the page where you have to put in letters to get the download ii the upper right hand corner. There shouldn't be any browse button.

What the FUCK has gotten into Neal. His lead playing is so aggressive and full of energy it's hard to believe. Some of it has to do with his new amp setup I think. Much more attack to his tone, but definitely more energy. Chain Reaction solo at end is smoking! :shock:

Niggy is correct..I wish I had this on DVD. Jeff's energy and stage presence you can't see in a cd boot.

Remember too folks, there is NO enhancement here. Raw singing and raw playing.

Hell if I had a soundboard boot of Augeri, my case would have been made in 10 seconds!

Thank you. It finally worked and I got all the downloads. Appreciate all of ur help. I will evenly get the hang of these new fangled tech. stuff. Its hard to learn when u are as old as I am, but I'm learning fast with ur help.
