Human Clay
JSS - vocals
Marcel Jacob (Talisman) - guitars & bass

Some background on this. Human Clay was a side project done while Talisman was on a break 3 years ago or so. Just for fun, they demo'd Edge of the Blade. This version is played in half time, in a lower key for a darker sound. Being the metal fan that I am, I really dig this version. It's almost evil sounding!

AR, this is an interesting demo Jeff did. It sure does have a darker feel to it. Thanks for posting the tune ! :D

OK I had to listen to this again...definitely a darker sound but it works, very well.

AR just those 2 guys did this? Marcel played both guitar and bass?

Amazing that this was done just for fun, I'm digging this

Yes, just those 2. I was told it ended up being on a Brazilian Journey tribute CD. I really dig this version. "Edge" has become one of my favorite songs recently after hearing it in AC & Boston. I never really gave the song a chance before. My loss, but at least I know better now. I like this demo because it's not trying to be Journey. Very cool.

Jeez, where did you get that from? It never appeared on those 2 Human Clay CD's.
I LOVE IT!

Thanks!
