I for one think this Fucker is the greatest singer ever, however, he was also the BIGGEST prick to ever walk th Earth. Put this guy next to Neal, and there is NO comparison. Neal Fucking Schon is the coolest fucking guy ever, period. Perry was great, but cool, he wasn't.

I don't agree Deano...I do agree about Neal, but Steve P cannot simply be described as you have above.

Steve was a true artist and that often involves a complicated set of circumstances that can't be summed up easily.

But I do agree that he is the GREATEST rock vocalist ever.

Don't say that until you have met him Dean.......he's actually a cool guy. Until you have actually shot the shit with both, ya really can't say. Maybe he used to be a prick back in the day......but doesn't seem to be now. Ya, I'm a chick and I'm biased blah, blah, blah. Hey, at least he wasn't overly dorky like Dennis DeYoung.
Perry's early on-stage antics are pretty hard to watch, but I think he developed a more mellow sense of cool with time.

Compare his SM tour antics to the Houston dvd.
Huge difference.
Or maybe it's just that he traded in the ostentatious leopard prints for raggedy blue-collar jeans.
