Again, you tell me...how was radio stations sponsering these concerts informed that Augeri was replaced and how would they be informed that he returned? Why should it be expected that lowly DJ's know such things?

Joe Benson posted the "official" announcement on his website back in July. He is also on KLOS in the afternoon. M&B only had to talk to their fellow DJ to get the facts.

Somehow I doubt that even Uncle Joe KNOWS if Augeri is back or not. Does he get daily updated or something?

They probably Emailed CJ and got a confusing reply so they just assumed...

I don't believe people were holding M&B up as heroes. I don't even think they were supporting Dean. All they did was talk about the blog and the claims. Again, KLOS is sponsoring the L.A. show. If M&B are going to talk about Journey and not know if Augeri is out or in, they could check the bands official website for the official word that (paraphrasing) Augeri is out until further notice. Stop trying to label the lot as hypocrites, it's just not the case here.

Are they just selectively clueless idiots? Or, were they clueless idiots when they talked about Dean as well? Were they hit by some kinda clueless idiot's disease in the past couple months, did it happen over night? One time they are credible, the next they are clueless. I think that herpaucrisee...that's how I see it.

At least I'm consistant in saying they are just morning show goofballs. That's all they were then, and that's all they are now. Maybe JSS can sing happy birthday to one of them and make it all better?

I think it's pretty obvious that, Augeri won't be back, if he ever does come back, it will be next year. Soto has been the replacement for this tour. After all, Augeri did start the tour, why wouldn't they just start the tour with J.S.S in the first place if he was the new frontman. Hmmm something to think about. Pretty interesting though.

I do think M&B should know their facts when talking about a show that their bread and butter is sponsoring, but hey that really is my opinion. I do not think I know, I do know that Jeff is scheduled to be singing lead vocals in Journey Friday night. Your scenario about Augeri showing up is sweet. Just what am I assuming here? I see the reality.

I can only make an educated guess that sponsors have a contract with the venue/band or something and probably received a press release with regards to the lead vocalist change.
