Just watched FTLOSM Beacon Theater, again. Been missing Steve Perry! I'm coming out and not hiding anymore. I am a full-flegded Perry "loon"!! I don't care who want's to attack me for it........bring it on!!! ....I am armed with the truth and a heart full of love! I lost sight of it for awhile, trying to accept the fact that he would never come back out in public. I thought we all should respect his privacy and leave it up to him when or if he would ever want to return to a public life.....screw that!!!....Steve get your ass back out here and fullfill your destiny!! I cannot accept any immitations or replacement's....only want the real thing! ( make's me thirsty for a Coke!! haha!! ) Been hearing rumor's around here that he is in the studio and writing again. I hope with all my heart that this is true. He's been seen out more...hope he's ready for all the media attention he will receive. After being away so long it would take some getting used to again. Hopefully he can find the passion again and return. Steve is truly one of a kind.....mind, body, and spirit! The greatest voice I have ever heard sing! No one can ever replace him, to me. As alway's, love and miss you, Stevie!....Faithfully!!........I could go on and on but I need to keep some ammo for the onslaught of attack's I will probably get for this post! I'm ready for it!! ha!

57 years old, FTLOSM was 12 years ago, last Journey tour 20 years ago.

Jeremy doe's a great job and I'd like to catch his show sometime if he ever get's down this way., but there is no replacement for Steve Perry! I'm sure Jeremy would agree! and so would JSS! :wink:

I couldn't agree with you more... I know he will probably NEVER sing with Journey again but I still really hope he comes back with something and soon...
What is really scary about your post is the similarities it has to posts you can find everyday at BT...

That's funny, but I have never posted at BT! No offense to Augeri, but he just never did it for me. I'm a loon! :lol:

The boot quality ain't bad, I'll give ya that. He fucking needs a haircut.

It's defintely down a step or two. At points it's fine. Just proves he wasn't superman.

Sound's great to me! I loved him bringing it down a step or two. A more mature sound that is sexy!

That doesn't necessarily bother me so much. I never liked him taking liberties with the songs. Not singing them the way they were intended. Don't know if that makes any sense, but I want to hear them as recorded.

I like some spontaneous improvisation's....spice's thing's up! I think singer's should have the freedom to put their own take on a song as they feel it!

Great signature video as usual, but that aside, I saw Perry at the Tower Theatre in Phila. sometime in the fall of 94....(don't remember the date, but it was after an Eagles Cardinals game which I reportedly attended.........)
anyway, he was sensatinonal. Is there any decent footage of that tour that you know of?

Yes, Lots! I've seen videos of NY, Toronto, and Memphis. And I'm sure there's more. And many more audio boots. I've seen stuff on Ebay, and a couple of boot sites. (Just do a Journey bootleg search) Wish I could afford to get them all. lol
