For those that previously speculated that MR.com and Azoff might be in collusion, this article damn near clinches it.

What the fuck is wrong with you? Seriously, why the straw up your ass? Bitchy, whiny, crying lately, nothing else. WTF?

You think MR and Azoff were in collusion, make your case. I would love to hear it. Not saying you are right or wrong, but would love to hear your take on it.

Why should they name Augeri? Augeri is out of the band, gone, fired, done. There is a reason why it isn't finalized.

There is a "Reason" why it's not finalized?!?
Can you please elaborate on this? I can't imagine what is taking so long to "just say it".

I can only imagine it is only something written in the contract between the band and promoters that keeps the band from officially making a statement further than what they have already.

Well, the fact that Azoff leaks press releases to MR before the band's own site is "allowed" to post them should have been enough of a clue...

I'm told that it's common for Jrny's mngmnt to "leak" info to outside sources b4 it hits the Jrny news page. Why? I have no idea? But, that's what I've heard, (and no, I'm not telling anybody my source on this).

He didn't give their piece of shit CD a good review. In fact, he said it sucked.

Def Lippard are pissed because they close every night, and get their collective asses blown off the sage nightly. EVERY review in the last 3 months say this, NOT just the Journey MR Board.

They are being exposed for the bubble gum shit they are.

Lippard were so bad last night, people were leaving in droves. They have to know they don't deserve to headline.

It is very different than what you might think.

Currently, Mac has the Vinnie Barbarino look happening. It was an interesting night to say the least. Personally, not one of my finer moments at all. I had the asshole meter way up there. Ended up spilling 2 Giant Hienekens, throwing a few punches with DL fans (pussies) in the bathroom, slipped on my ass due to the wet concrete, argued with Lula, argued with people associated with the band, argued with ushers, told one particular usher I was going in a particular door and he couldn't stop me, and he didn't, missed three shuttle busses back to hotel, told driver he smelled like a cat box, removed from bus, caught next bus, got stranded in hotel for 3 hours with NO ride, and to top it off, pissed off some band members, and Tech members. I am beyond apologies. I am considering suicide.

All in all, I had a pretty bad night.

PS-My hatred for Euros climbed exponentially by 20 last night.

Dean'o I am ever so bummed that you had a shit night
amidst the festivities, I hope at the very least Lula
and you are cool.
Your just to big for life sometimes Dean.

That just blows my mind. I can't fathom a reason they would choose to make their OWN band's site look worse by having the news LAST. I'm sure you're right, but it's one of those management things I do not understand.

NOT comparable

And then there was TONIGHT'S show! Beyond words - this band is on fire. Never seen Cain so active and into anything - even on videos of the band.

Reference to their 80's glory days - check
Comparison of Jeff to Perry - check
No mention of that guy who fronted the band for the last decade- check

Aside from Jeff, this band and their mngt. displays as much collective intelligence as a band of trained NASA test-flight chimps.
Pathetic!

Dude, you off your medication today?? Haha

Ok - didn't even talk with managment...just hanging with the band.
2. I have only done 1 brief summary thus far - gimmie some time here!!! Jon did also talk about him during our interview, so that of course will be online.
3. Jeff IS comparable to Perry - that is afterall, the singer that drove this band to the top and the person most have an interest in.

And that last comment doesn't even deserve a reply to.

That wasn't leaked...it was sent to everyone at the same time with a publication deadline. I asked and got approval to run it at the time I got it. Simple.

But, see, CJ claimed that journeymusic.com wasn't allowed to post it yet... and they didn't do so until a few DAYS after you did. I find that a little suspicious on management's part. They shouldn't do that. But what do I know, eh?
