Deano, I may be wrong on this, BUT, I saw somewhere in one of your posts that you met up with Lora Beard? If so, is she not affiliated in some way with Steve P? And, if all of the above is correct, did she spill anything about him to you? If not, oooops, and sorry!!

From what I know/have heard about Lora she would NEVER "spill" anyhting about Perry without his permission. She is one of very few people he trusts. There is a reason for that. So, MY guess is that she didn't reveal anything.

Would it be odd for her to be at the concert? I know she's probably a Journey fan in and of itself--I was just curious why she might be backstage, etc., you know? I am probably reading too much into it, but I thought it might be interesting if Deano knew something about him.

That would be Cyndy Poon, the other FanAsylum contact of Steve Perry.

Love this line from Andrew's review:

Neal commented backstage, he is getting and reading comments from friends and fans that they haven't heard a few of these songs sung so well – even during the Perry era. And from talking to a lot of folks - this band is making waves.

We were all just hanging out before and after Journey's set..I'm sure her and Cyndy were there just as fans..

We all had plans to go to the M&G, but Security screwed us and made us wait too long..We missed it, but Jeff was nice enough to come down quickly before the show started..

Hey Tom,

But security ended up being nothing but a gnat on our sleeve, eh? It was great walking up to a closed door and saying, "open it." Bitchin.

Yeah, that was cool. My thoughts on bitches is this. If you are good looking enough, and hot, well then you can be a bitch to a certain extent. Ugly women, (input BT Nation here), cannot afford to be bitchy. Make sense?

It is very different than what you might think.

Currently, Mac has the Vinnie Barbarino look happening. It was an interesting night to say the least. Personally, not one of my finer moments at all. I had the asshole meter way up there. Ended up spilling 2 Giant Hienekens, throwing a few punches with DL fans (pussies) in the bathroom, slipped on my ass due to the wet concrete, argued with Lula, argued with people associated with the band, argued with ushers, told one particular usher I was going in a particular door and he couldn't stop me, and he didn't, missed three shuttle busses back to hotel, told driver he smelled like a cat box, removed from bus, caught next bus, got stranded in hotel for 3 hours with NO ride, and to top it off, pissed off some band members, and Tech members. I am beyond apologies. I am considering suicide.

All in all, I had a pretty bad night.

PS-My hatred for Euros climbed exponentially by 20 last night.

regarding the suicide thing..I can refer you to a couple wb sites that will assist you in your desired method??

Oh...gee whizz... what a surprise...your back!!! drama Queen as usual....yawn !!!

For those that previously speculated that MR.com and Azoff might be in collusion, this article damn near clinches it.

Reference to their 80's glory days - check
Comparison of Jeff to Perry - check
No mention of that guy who fronted the band for the last decade- check

Aside from Jeff, this band and their mngt. displays as much collective intelligence as a band of trained NASA test-flight chimps.
Pathetic!

Mmmmmmm.... good to see that you..Noble Cause, smell the same rat as me!! I will have to wait and read a review from someone who is not closely associated with the band members...Andrew freely admits that him and JSS go back a ways???

This is not to say that Andrews opinion isnt valid... fuck....he may be right...which is cool..I just gotta read it from someone else too!!

He didn't give their piece of shit CD a good review. In fact, he said it sucked.

Def Lippard are pissed because they close every night, and get their collective asses blown off the sage nightly. EVERY review in the last 3 months say this, NOT just the Journey MR Board.

They are being exposed for the bubble gum shit they are.

Taping, fat Euros.

Andrew is either very patient or dumb as a rock.

He insists Mcneil is NOT Reardon. I told Andrew he is wrong.

I will gladly brawl with the smelly Brit with the bad teeth and smelly pits.

McNeil, you're woefully undermatched and if TNC wants to play this ridiculous game he is on, well then he is also in the line of fire. TNC, the thing with him is, at least he is honest. You are just starved for attention.

I have and never will be Reardon!!

wtf... is this repeating itself again??

Reardon..all that means to me is an English snooker player from the 1970's who won a world title (Joe Reardon)

?????????????????????????

and no shit about ip adress being definitive... Im Microsoft certified(MCSE) .... did a lengthy 2 year course... networking, trobleshooting etc etc ...and there are ways !!! this site can be hacked.. trust me.... its poss to pull up a list of everyones IP ad who posts here..as well as "mimick" the ip address ... you just gotta be logged on the same time as the "hacker" hell even at a basic level, anyone can IP by proxy, thus avoiding being banned.... just log on with a new ip and identity...its that easy!!

by the way..I would never ever attempt to compromise this site..so dont even go there

the bowl show was awesome! i think i liked this show much better then the one in irvine... prolly because we had better seats! right in the middle of the bowl. we got there early so when it started to rain we were sitting in our seats. i was loving it... it's just so rockin` roll! }:C) anyway we all got drenched so i kept my jacket over my head the whole time... just in case! god i looked a mess! journey was awesome. i really loved that they added "i'll be alright without you" best vocal of the night for me at least... GOOD job jss! }:C) it was funny when jeff fell on his booty... from where we were sitting it looked like he laid back & did some snow angels. hope it didn't hurt too much. };C) i can't wait until they tour again with longer sets... still then it just wouldn't be enough. thanks guys... thank you from the bottom of my heart for such an awesome evening. i love you guys... i mean that! }:C))

def lep was good too. at the irvine show i think we stayed for 4 or 5 songs then the hubby said he wanted to leave because he was hungry (and tired). i told him he had the munches from all the skunk people were smoking. this time tho we stayed the whole def lep set. it was really fun screaming (singing... heh) at the top of my lungs! i dunno... to me it seemed like more people were into lep then into jounrey. maybe because a lot of the songs journey played aren't that well known? anyway... they put on a pretty good show. }:C))

i ended the evening with a trip to the ER. about an hour after falling asleep i woke up feeling really bad so 911 was called and took me away. nice wake up call for me. i really have to take better care of myself & reduce my stress. if i knew this was going to happen i would have put my cute jammies on & cleaned up instead of falling asleep on the couch in my clothes with messy rain hair! it's funny what thoughts run through your head while the medics are looking you over. omg they were really cute! };C) anyway i spent about 8 hours in the ER having every test to man kind done on me. the blood work showed that my pottasium level dropped REALLY low so they hooked me up to an IV for 3 hours plus i had to drink this awful stuff. my male nurse was so cute & sweet. i should have gotten his number for a friend of mine! }:C) so i guess you could say i partied like a rock star friday night! }:CP

hey deano, lula & andrew i think i saw you guys at the bowl. i would have said allo but i'm shy... plus i looked really scary! }:C)

I have to agree. DL was so boring I left in after the first 3 songs. The only one that looked like he was having fun was Rick Savage. I had front row seats, and nothing they could have done would have prompted me to stay. I agree with others on this thread that Journey should be the show stopper.
