I am another Perry diehard that really likes JSS. He does have some Perry-isms, however, he has his own style, he is not imitating. I saw him in Fresno and he ROCKED.

I hear where your coming from Sall, that is why I just love that IBAWY soundcheck clip.......he sounds enough like Perry to definately do the song justice IMO. But yet different enough to keep me intrigued..............and ooooooooooh so much funner to watch than Augeri.

I think Andrew is a little off here. Sure the west coast swing was nice..LA twice, big wigs, etc etc. The Baltimore trip will be much more fun, I guarantee you all who are coming that much. I can't give details, but I would say this. I would quit my job, lie to my boss about anything to get out of work Friday and be at the party Thursday night. Just do it, you won't be disappointed.

A terrible "joke" if so. You can have opinions, but Arrival's success was nothing to sneeze at... especially when compared to Journey's first three albums... you can't call yourself a Journey fan if you only selectively appreciate what each era produced.

Then again, maybe you're not a Journey fan. Just another Perry diehard on the JSS bandwagon.

i don't like every song on every album, so i guess i can't call myself a journey fan then. bummer. i'm going to be booted out of the journey force.

The good thing about life is we all have choices, prefrences, and while all three guys have 3 different sounds, all are good at what they love to do and were put on this planet to do. I enjoy watching Journey NOW even more because that fire that was there during the Perry years are now back with JSS. It doesnt lessen anyone by saying that. Augeri is good in his own right, but the band is better NOW with JSS. I still miss Perry though. Somebody get him out from under that rock!!!!
